I hate that Mia won but I feel like finding a way to go to David West and laugh hard in his face for picking Pacers over us. I don't see how Mia beats us with him at that point. Stupid decision.
Truth!
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

LeBron's 5th Finals appearance.  Heck of a resume he's got going.  it's amazing how at every step of his career he's just consistently exceeded unrealistic expectations.  As a fan of basketball, it's pretty cool to watch.

Will be really interesting to see how this playoff series impacts his future.

The 2014 Finals will impact his future a lot. Then next year, another ECF or Finals series will impact his future again, and again in 2016.. and so on and so forth until he retires. Barring any injury, we really can't judge where his place is in NBA history until he's not playing any more.

At least that is what I believe should be the case.

What I'm alluding to is the tiny chance that he leaves Miami this summer.  It's still possible.  Does winning the title make that more or less likely?  I had a debate with some friends about it today.  My thought was that if they won the title he'd stay, but if they lost, he'd move on.  My friends figured it was the other way around... that if he won another championship in Miami he'd no longer have any left to prove there... and would seek out a new challenge.  I still can't imagine him playing for Dan Gilbert again, but who knows... maybe he goes and plays for Doc Rivers and the Hollywood Knights via a sign-and-trade.

I don't see how he's exceeding unrealistic expectations, other than outgrowing his earlier "choker" reputation.

I think the spurs get their revenge this year and beat Miami. heck, they shouldve won last year. and this year they seem to be rolling even more.

I dont get how the spurs do it. the older they get they still stay competitive. and parker/ginobli/duncan dont look like they have aged....then you look at Pierce/Garnett who have clearly declined in skills.(although pierce still has game left in the tank)

when the thunder lose this game they can look at shot selection as the reason why. westbrook when there's 24 seconds on the shot clock and nothing but Spurs under the basket it's a bad shot.

I will have no remorse for this team when they lose.
