I hope there won't be another Ray Allen Game 6 of 2013.

how is Tim Duncan still playing at such a high level and KG has totally deteriorated?

Duncan relies on his fundamentals while KG relies on his athleticism.

There's some truth to that but KG has two more years in the league and spent a bunch of years in Minny totally carrying the load in a way Duncan never had.  KG also didn't have the body to be a low-post banger 'til he was many, many years into his career and never really developed that part of his game.

Knee Injury in Utah, Feb 2009.

That was very nightmarish. Can't believe we took Chicago and Orlando to a pair of Game 7s. A repeat was imminent if KG was 100% healthy.

I love that they just showed Bosh blocking that three point shot in the Finals last year, given the plethora of fouls called these playoffs where there was less contact.

honestly, we were a big away from beating Orlando that yr. if we had one big to throw out there I believe we win that series.

The Spurs better have their act together and beat the Heat this year.

Of course, Tony Parker comes up lame (again) just in time for the Finals.  >:(

Yeah I think Scott Brooks is gone this summer...

They'll give him another year. The late game execution is really bad. Watching Westbrook ignore everyone half the time never changes.

Boris Diaw.

Anyone else quite like this guy?

Royce White could have been. [dang] it.

Westbrook is so frustrating to watch sometimes.  The dude is an absolute beast of an athlete but if you want to get back to the finals you can't be turning the ball over 6-7 times in an elimination game.  For every spectacular play, there was a bad turnover, or a poor shot selection.  He is becoming a beast on def as well too, so the 6 steals are just negated by all the turnovers.

KD and RW need to eventually learn that they have to play smart if they want to win it all.  Chucking up bad shots in the last minute, and the turnovers geez.  I am not sure Brooks is the coach to lead them to a title.  Too low key, hasn't improved them in the 1/2 court which they need to win in the playoffs.  Someone needs to be barking in KD's and RW's ear all season long to play smart, and exploit the mis-matches.

Good thing the Celtics drafted Sullinger!

I hope they axe him for George Karl, honestly.

Also good we didn't trade up for Austin Rivers.

Next closest thing to Boris Diaw might be Olynyk. Big with guard skills, passing, mobility and no vert.

Though I'd have liked Kelly to be stronger. Might be a strange fetish of mine...undersized, strong stout bigs with guard skills and versatility.

Maybe it's because they're the exact opposite of what you'd expect of a basketball player - long and lean with outworldly athleticism who are defined by scoring and...dunks.

This is the first NBA Finals rematch between the two same teams since the LAL vs BOS finals rematch four years ago.
