What a surprising game. Thought OKC would bury the Spurs just like in 2012.

I guess home court advantage really does matter in this series.

Clearly its the Matt Bonner starting effect.

Ginobili, such a leader.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Really, this is surprising you?

Spurs completely blew them out in games 1 and 2.  OKC pulled out two pretty close games, and in the second one San Antonio's starters didn't play the second half.

This series was never in danger for them.  Thus why Pops had no problem resting the starters.  Even when the SAS bench cut it to 12 with 6-7 minutes left.

Er I wouldn't say two close games in Game 3 and 4. OKC was in full control of those two games throughout. The moment Serge Ibaka returned to the lineup it pressured the Spurs. I'd thought by Game 5 their athleticism would pour all over SAS.

It wasn't in danger for them when Ibaka went down. It was in danger for them when he came back, and the fact when they tied the series back 2 games a piece. They were throttled by OKC in the regular season including both games in San Antonio.

Great adjustments from Pops though. My heart can hope they close it out in OKC.

Pretty even series on paper. OKC should win Game 6 and it'll all come down to the next one.

Games 3 and 4 were blowouts; the final scores were a result of garbage time.  OKC led by 27 at one point in Game 4.  Neither game was ever really in question.

OKC led by 27 at one point!!  But was down 12 with 6 minutes left vs. San Antonio's bench.

Brother, the end of the 3rd and the beginning of the 4th is NOT garbage time.  The Spurs' bench closed it to 12 like nothing and Pops still didn't budge.

Tony Paker was 7-12!  Barely played in the 2nd half....how could you say that game wasn't in question if Pops didn't know he was guaranteed to win the series....this is the playoffs, you don't just sit all your starters down 12.................

I said it wasn't in question because the lead never went below double digits and every time San Antonio started to make a run, OKC would counter.

And he didn't sit his starters down 12, he sat them down 27.

And it was garbage time; Pop essentially admitted as much when he said he pulled all of his starters because he was thinking "Thursday."

Again, that was San Antonio's BENCH making those runs.  I said their BENCH closed it from 27 to 12 WHILE Westbrook was killing it.

You're making the same point as I am.
