Ibaka, lamb, jones, trade exception and 2 first rounders for love and budinger could make sense for both Minnesota and okc.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lc92tpw

It works. That's really interesting. Love would extend in okc. And he's a big unlike harden, another perimeter player, so it makes sense to give him big money.

Yes, might as well get another efficient scorer to stand around and watch Westbrook jack up shots.

Here's one:

Celts get Love, JJ Barea and Turiaf
Thunder get Rondo, Green, Brooklyn 2016 1st rounder
Wolves get Westbrook, Sullinger, Perkins, #6 pick, #17 pick in this year's draft.

Russell plays pick and pop quite a bit with serge and nick. You wouldn't do that trade if you're okc? If minny really wants to try to win now serge is a great get.

Look at the Kevin Love Trade/Free Agency Thread on RealGM. I'd say the majority of posters are in favor of a Sullinger/6/+ combo over any others. The GSW (Lee/Barnes/Thompson) and CHI (Mirotic/Butler/Gibson) offers perk some interest, but both GSW and CHI have said they won't include Thompson and Gibson respectively in any offers for Love.

Look at pages 65+ for recent talk since rumors broke, pages 75-80 + since the lottery
Been over there a lot myself and saw the same thing.  They favor the Celtics package and they're really down on David Lee.

Read like 20 pages and they seem to be high on the rumored Philedelphia trade. (#3 overall this year and #10 overall this year) If PHI is willing to do that there is no way we could match it. I dont know if I'd do that if I was PHI especially if Wiggins or Parker was on the board but its interesting at least...

Why would Love want to stay there?  They have MCW, Noel who will be a rookie coming off an injury, and... that's about it.  They gutted their roster to tank.

If Philli or Cleveland trade their top-3 pick for Love, I would laugh at them and tip my hat to Flip Saunders.

Maybe I'm being negative, but I see absolutely no chance either team does that.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Me neither.  Look at what Denver got for Melo.  It's not that impressive. This essentially the same situation.

I agree I don't see either team doing that. Love would never resign in Cleveland and probably not Philadelphia. If I'm PHI I just draft whoever falls to me at 3, use the 10th, and hope that I become the Oklahoma City thunder of the east in 2 years.

OKC wouldn't want Love. They need a rim protector to guard the weak side- and that's once Adams takes over from Perkins as their starting C.

Ibaka is cheaper, one of the best big men in the NBA and is a complement to Durant.
It would be another guy that would be losing shots to Westbrook whilst their defense deteriorates. I'd say the Thunder probably view Ibaka as their 2nd MVP since Westbrook's knee went south. He's so important to their playoffs and we can see what's happened to them now that he's been out vs OKC.

Just not a good fit for OKC, and frankly, OKC wouldn't do that deal because they'd be paying way too much.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Last time Kevin Love said he'll be happy to play for celtics, now he is in bean town for the weekend. For me it means that he'll more likely be traded here this summer. Here's my Kevin-Love trade: Sully, Bass, Humph, Anthony, Bogans, CJ, Bayless, Babb, #17 & 2015 picks, for him & Martin. Minny would have three good players, one veteran. Bogans, CJ, CB are all waivable. We'll keep the #6, & have a top 5 players & a veteran sg. I made this trade in the espn trade machine (without the pics) & it works. #17 & 2015 pics are here just in case Minny would want more. I'd like to keep Humph & instead send Wallace & the tpe but i don't know how the tpe works. With #6 draft Aaron Gordon. With his defensive/offensive skills this kid will more likely be a good player in the league. He's young, versatile, athletic, plays good d, can score &  is getting better at the free throws. He'll back up Jeff Green for his first season, maybe he'll be a starter the following year. Then resign Avery & bring back Jordan Crawford for next year. 2014-2015 celtics team:
PG: Rondo, Pressey
SG: Bradley, Crawford, Martin
SF: Green, Aaron Gordon, [Wallace]
PF: Love, Olynyk, [Humph]
C: Fav, Iverson

What you think about this guy? :)

Minny can get a better deal elsewhere. We need to include our lotto pick or we can just forget about it.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

No way Minny would agree to any sort of deal without pick #6... And also u cant trade Bayless or Hump right now as theyre FAs... However this lineup aint too bad 1-4 but but at the Center spot is just woeful! Since we still have the Trade Exception we can do that along with next years clippers pick or Phillys protected first rounder... Then that team would be a serious playoff threat...

Is there no way to acquire Love without giving up our lottery pic? Only the bulls can make a better offer. Something like Boozer, Mirotic, #16 & #18. The only matter is that Boozer make $15m/yr. For the C spot we can sign Martin Gortat or Monroe this summer but i doubt Danny Ainge will do this. He kept an eye on Colton Iverson all year long plus he still believe in Fav. Maybe he'll trade for an all-star center later if needed so Colton & Fav will more likely be our only centers next year, Olynyk could also help.

So hump in the sign and trade or what? He's going to be a free agent and I doubt he gets another 12 million dollar contract.
