What do we have that they might want or need???

Brandon Bass.

Productive starting 4. Good "D", especially with KG. KG/Blatche at center. History with KG/PP/Jet.

Brandon Bass for Teletovic, Plumlee and Shengelia.

Since December 2011, this is the 3rd time he's broken the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot. Shame because he's a very good player, but this is really bad for his career.

Credit to Tanguay. He gets a lot of smack on this board, but he sure nailed this one.

No Lopez......this means Garnet will have to play 30 minutes min a game for them to even have a chance to win.........in less than 10 games he will get injured and be done forever .

KG will get hurt trying to pull serious minutes.    He already looks bad , even if his number s aren't so ad.....he is n injury waiting to happen.

So...we need the Hawks to start struggling. Because the Nets now have a good shot at being in the 2014 lottery, especially with that "coach" they have. In future years, those Nets picks are going to be awesome, because Lopez is starting to remind me of other injury-prone centers. He doesn't move all that well, and this isn't his first foot injury...and that long-term contract isn't helping the Nets. Unless some of their current young players become very good, they are screwed b/c of the cap (and the Johnson/Williams/Lopez contracts) and the lack of draft picks.

That's really too bad for Lopez.  And the Nets of course.  Don't see how they get things on track without him but should still be making the playoffs as a late seed.

Seems to make sense on both sides.  KG would be a terrific PF and backup C on that rockets team right now.  Brooklyn certainly isn't winning a title this year so has to look forward in some kind of manner.

Stop the presses. Tanguay got something right.
