Between Bass and Lee they make 12M and Asik makes 8M I guess we will get another contract to match salaries.
Don't have to. Trade seems legal as is.

We're hard capped this season so if we use it at all it'll likely be next year right after the the next league year starts. We'll have a few days to use it.

Man I really like Lee tho. Can Brooks be given away instead?

But Bass/Lee and a pick for Asik seems fair. We get to keep Green and Sully while receiving a much needed center. A legit center. Who can really be upset with that?

In Ainge we trust.

I think we can upgrade Lee later.  Right now, the better compliment to the roster is Asik.

Lee is solid but giving away a back up 2 guard as part of the package for a 7ft C that can really defend is a no brainer...

I do too, he is playing better this year vs last year, but he is replaceable once Rondo comes back... a backcourt of Rondo, Bradley, and Crawford is very nice and make Lee redundant.

Bass and Sully, same thing, as Fav and KO seem very serviceable as well.

If it's really Bass+Lee+1st rounder (not named 2014), for Asik, you HAVE to jump on that asap

I love how people talked about Howard jetting Bass out of Orlando and Houston givimg up Lee for basically nothing as reasons those guys wouldnt get dealt to them.

Looks like a lot of people were wrong with that

A deal with Boston would reunite Omer Asik with former Bulls assistant coach Ron Adams. They were close in Chicago.

I made this post over a week ago...

"I'm not sure what direction this team is going now, but it makes a ton of sense on paper.Brad Stevens is heralded as a huge analytical guy who would likely value Asik a great deal. Not to mention Brad hired Ron Adams as his assistant out of Chicago, so he has an obvious connection with Asik and coached him for his forst couple seasons in the league. Boston already has an above average defense (10th in efficiency last I checked) and Asik would only catapult that higher. Ainge has useful veterans and picks."

I AM THE SMARTEST MAN ALIVE!

...ok, I'm done
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Guys how are there three post in a row of the same story? Lol
Cmon read the prior posts

I wonder if jeff green is going for asik and a prospect. Just cant see hous accepting anything less.

Green or bass plus a later 1st pick

Green going makes some sense. We have multiple picks in a heavy talented 2014 . also Can we really afford to keep green and almost impossible to trade clogging 20 mill in salary for the next several yrs?

We are actually selling high on Lee because there is no way he is as good as he's playing right now,

I literally argued earlier that Bass and a first would be a great trade, this isn't Orlando
