If Sullinger has a big year and develops and the C's get a top 3 pick, they are going to need to eventually pay those guys, guys with potential to be "the guy" on your team.
Haywood will never be "the guy" on a great team and should never be paid like it. I think Ainge knows that and won't tie up big money on Haywood when he will have too many future big contracts to worry about handing out(like Rondo's).
If you can get Haywood here in a S&T for Green or a package of Lee and Bass(while shedding a million or more in salary) or the trade exception, great,if Danny thinks he is a piece worth having. If not, oh well.
A Haywood acquisition just doesn't get me very excited.
