  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Since my pick is due:

Alex Len

I like any player who can fit his entire name on the back of a jersey, a la Rob Moore from the Cardinals.

I think that is a really nice fit behind Nene and Carlos Boozer.

Nene can slide back to PF and play alongside A.Len. I think that will be a really nice defensive and physically powerful combination.

Thanks. Len is 7'1", 255, and used to be a gymnast, so that's size, youth, and athleticism to add to my team of old men. He's got a lot to learn, but he should be able to acclimate well enough. He was very solid out of the pick n' roll at Maryland, and he'll bring the rebounding/shot blocking that this team needs behind Nene. I don't expect him to excel, but I think he'll be just fine as a backup C this year.

- He also allows John Henson to stick around at PF on the 2nd unit, where he's at his most efficient.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

The Los Angeles Lakers select Boris Diaw, who will be promptly moved in a trade.

I think you gave up a lot.  I like Butler, but I don't love him like some people do.  I think in the long-term, MKG will be a better player.

TRADE

That seems incredibly unrepentantly lopsided to me. Jimmy Butler was a difference maker last season for the Bulls, MKG was a net negative. Sessions is okay, Birdman is okay, but its a homerun for Philly in my mind.

I'm big fans of both players, I just feel like MKG at the two is not a good long term fit. Also MKG did not look great in summer league this year.

A "net negative" might be overstating things a bit.  9 points, 6 rebounds, 46% FG% and a rookie of the month award for a struggling rookie isn't a "net negative", especially when the player in question is 19 years old.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
The Nuggets made an offer this man can't refuse. So we are proud to say that the Mile High City has hired Pat Riley as their coach.

No one comes in the middle, period.

BTW, props to Kane, Rush is an excellent pick, always an excellent pick.

Meh. I reached on Butler but the trade was fair. MKG still has potential and both him and Butler are rookies. Get MKG on a good team with vet mentors and I think he can live up to the Gerald Wallace/ Iggy comparisons.

I also got the two picks while sacrificing two scrub picks. Sessions and Birdman bring more vet presence and reliable backups to Teague and Duncan. Mayo and Blatche were not brought in to be those back up roles.

I almost made it through without a trade. I think I did well
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

And despite the understanding that they would've done exactly the same in TWW's situation, resents him so being so blasé about skipping us. Its a cold world, in the CB Draft.
