I'm an unabashed Pondexter fan. Would've taken him over MWP but I wanted someone to be physical with bigger forwards and be our designated crazy guy.

Rated his defense very highly since he came into the league.
The concern was that he couldn't bring enough to the table offensively to play on the perimeter and would find playing time hard to come despite his defensive talent because he'd be a considered a tweener (PF/SF) garbage man ... and then last season, everything changed for him, Pondexter came back to Memphis with a much improved enough three point shot which freed him up to defend his natural position (SF) allowing him to take full advantage of his defensive talent.
