STATEMENT

The commissioner's office has assumed control of Oklahoma City until such time as their GM contacts the office and petitions for reinstatement.
If a GM wants to trade with OKC do we just message you?
Yes, but OKC will not be making any trades while the commissioner's office has control of the team. We are only doing what is in the best interest of the franchise at the moment until we hear from the GM of OKC, at which point he may take over the team once again.

The best interest of the franchise at the moment is to make selection when the time arrives for selections to be made and nothing more. If the GM does not return or another GM can not be found to take control of the team, the commissioner's office would consider trading to improve the team, after the last round of the draft and trades would be considered at that time
Thanks for clarifying
TP

With the rest of the league in mind (and knowing we have to do two rounds again today) I will get it started early...

With the first pick of the 8th round, the Minnesota Timberwolves select Glen "Big Baby" Davis

President/GM McHP Quote: "We are happy to add a big man of Glen's caliber this late in the draft. He will round out our big man rotation nicely and his skills complement the existing guys perfectly. He is a big body who hustles down the floor and on the glass, takes charges, plays the passing lane around the hoop, and has a nice mid-range jump shot. Last season he averaged 17.3PPG/8.3RPG/2.4APG/1.1SPG per-36MPG. He has championship experience as a role player and we expect him play a similar role here. We believe he is the best big man available and it is essential to have a deep front court to win games. Although last season was cut short due to injury, he is fully recovered and expected to be ready for the start of the season. Welcome to Minnesota, Glen."

Nice big wing to put alongside Rudy Gay + Aldridge + Hibbert. Lotta length.

Obviously hurt last year. Expected to be ready for camp. But shot 45 percent from three the year before for (lockout year), well, for real life golden st.

First five picks... Just mean. Had all of them high on my list. But then again talent is fading so I'm sure everyone was targeting them  :(
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Isn't he from Michigan?  Nice pickup, though - most skilled big left on the board, imo.
