Until the trade is final, it's not final. Two things to remember:

1. David Stern is still the Commissioner.
2. KG still has a no-trade clause.

People will laugh at Celtics next year, but will cry when we land the first pick and draft GOAT Wiggins.

I am still in awe and disbelief that we managed to get so much for these guys at this point in their careers.

Nets pushing all in on a title pursuit.  Very all in.

Considering where the Nets have been just two years ago...

we´re in much better shape than they were, in my opinion.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I hate this trade because it sends PP and KG to a mediocre team that can't truly contend.

Brooklyn is awful. Paul is an upgrade on Gerald Wallace, and KG will help their defense, but they still have an offense that revolves around the over-rated Brook Lopez and Deron Williams. I just don't see that team getting out of the first round in the foreseeable future.

PP and KG deserve better

Something tells me Pierce would rather be traded to Brooklyn than Cleveland...

They had a top 10 (8th) offense playing Wallace/Evans for big minutes that allowed teams to crush their spacing.

Now Pierce/KG will play those minutes, if healthy they'll be a top 5 offense.

So what's the actual deal? And if we're trading Terry/PP/KG, then great.

Once all is said and done, I'm going to be a little sad watching us suck. But please basketball Gods... give us Wiggins or Parker!

Pierce/KG/Terry

for

Evans/Humphries/Bogans/Wallace/Shengelia/Low level salary player

+ 3 first rounders...2014, 2016, 2018

If we have to swallow Wallace, in addition to giving us  the 3 firsts they should pick for us at 22 in a couple of hours.

My understanding is that at least one of those firsts can be switched by Atlanta for theirs. That makes them less valuable, so they should pick for us this year, too.

NETS should have a [dang] good team and be able to make a one time run now.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Just like Duncan and Durrant and Oden. I will believe it when I see it but I will not ever get my hope up again of landing the number 1 pick.

IMO, one pick is only to take Wallace and his terrible contract.

If the picks are unprotected I don't mind this trade because there is a good chance Nets will suck in 3-4 years.

Btw, Nets traded #6 pick (Lillard) for expiring contract of Wallace, gave him 40M for 4 years and a year later they have to add another pick to get rid of him. Talk about bad trade. Billy King

Only 1 pick can be switched.  The one in 2014.  No big deal in that deep draft.  It's worth more to us than #22 this year.

Don't worry.  They will contend and be favorites I predict.  Don't forget the incredible structure that KG adds to a team.  Joe J. D. Will, Pierce, KG and Lopez.  That's very stacked.  They'll fill it out with some vets and be a devastating team.  It's all about synergy and structure, not just minutes and stats.  KG will electrify that group.

Not to mention you'll see a different KG and PIerce with the added offensive help they'll get.  They'll be freer and will have less burden on them, and will thrive for that reason.

If not it will be 3 in 2015. That is a haul in 1 draft.

Not sure if I agree.

Brooks and KG will be a great combo for one.  We saw how KG played with Shaq, this his first low post scorer since that.

They were a good offensive team, KG improves their defense.
