Do people want this??

I don't want this.

3 picks in the 25-30 range.

Not exactly. Maybe the pick in 2014, but not the picks in 2016 & 18. That team could be seriously bad by then. Not only are KG and Pierce likely retired, but don't forget about Williams (already 29) and his troublesome ankles.

Good god this team is going to be awful. No shooting at all. No star power whatsoever. This team will struggle to score and will be undersized.

I sure hope they shed the crap the nets are sending over. Having Wallace for 3 years is brutal. Guy is garbage
It's about getting something out of it and probably sending KG and Pierce off well to a playoff team. Standing pat KG wouldn't even want to be here most likely anymore and would probably sit out the year. Ainge is thinking get some picks and hey send my guys for a chance to make a playoff run.

I'm not too worked up about it, when Doc was dealt you knew this was coming, and if we don't do a deal for some picks what's better out here?

One injury and it is lottery!

But hopefully not worse than Atlanta's pick.

This is going to make me barf. KG and Pierce, the heart and soul of our team, for the Kardashian, the shell of Gerald Wallace, and 3 picks in the 25-30 range.

Please don't let this happen.

Yeah, I know. It's almost as if ainge wants the celtics to suck for the next few years, or something.

I'm staggered that people are still in denial about this. Any doubt at all should have gone out the window when they let Doc walk for a 1st 2 years from now.

How can one not read the writing on the wall?

I'd be inclined to take this now. The picks are HUGE for me. I wouldn't mind watchin Rondo lob a few to JSmoov, and I actually like Reggie Evans. He's neat. I really don't want Green or Rondo traded afterward, though.

PG - Some Rookie
SG - Bradly/Lee
SF - Green
PF - Sullinger
C- Some Rookie

Benchwarmers - Wallace, Bass and other vets.

Keep Rondo out until December then showcase him for the deadline.

Wa-la - A bottom five team.

I think this is tank, not a 35 - 40 win team ,sorry.

I cannot cheer for any of the guys the nets are sending. I am fine with the picks. But I don't want any of the nets guys. Trade them, cut them....get rid of them.

Is this all? Or is Boston going to move the junk the nets send over? Is this going to be our team? I cannot see rondo staying

Rondo will not be playing for a long while. When he is ready, he will be moved.

I don't like the Wallace contract, but we do have the stretch (right?), and he's an expiring in two years anyway.
Mmm ... $30 million over three years so that is $30 over 7 years if use stretch provision. About $4.3 million per annum.

That would create enough wiggle room cap wise to make major free agent additions if available. Good idea.

Don't think there's be any reason to use it this year, so $20 million over 5 perhaps.

WOW, If it flips to 2015, that may change as well, since Atlanta has 1st dibs.

We could have 3 in 2015 unprotected as well as 2 in 2016 and 2 in 2018 unprotected.

I am rooting for injuries to the Nets and Clippers in those years  ;D
