I think people are getting a little excited here. It's not exactly like LA came "crawling" back all desperate like and now Danny gets whatever he wants.

Best thing we can hope for is Jordan and two 1st rounders.
That's what I think too.  Second first gets it done.

I mean, sure.
But I think the idea is that we have leverage now.
And if CP3 is pushing for the negotiation, we can probably unload a contract and/or bring in another asset.

I think Danny originally wanted that and for them to take back one of Jet/Lee so if he gets that done hat tip to Danny

This is what I'd like to see, with two 1sts coming the Celtics' way:

Kind of a pipe dream with Terry AND Lee, but maybe they'll be desperate enough b/c of Chris Paul.
Would you rather have the cap space, or Bledsoe?

Bledsoe, but I really don't believe that's on the table.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Well, he can always ask for the moon.  I'm just speculating on what I think the final deal will be, and my guess is DJ and 2 firsts.  Hope we know tonight.

You know RIvers is pushing this too......he has LOST FACE in Boston...and realizes it is gonna be hard to go back to a team he is ready to leave , not to mention all the fans that will be on his tail.

DOC  needs it done,,,,his tail is hanging out,,, The CLipppers need it DONE....they are likely to lose CP3

I just think Danny should go back to the original price tag......they WILL cave......even the original price list wasn't too much from what most of the media bigs have said.

Still....they will never get Dwight from LA..... Griffin is NOT in any way equal to DH.  They won't make a super power out of their next door neighbor in the same building.

Take em' to the woodshed Ainge! I'm intrigued now. At first I didn't want a deal, but Doc doesn't want to be here so lets start fresh.

How many people here would root for the Clips in the playoffs next seson if Doc, KG and Paul ended up there?

I was just thinkiabout this.  I definately would becasue I like all 3 people and think Doc is a better fit in LA.  KG and Paul deserve to go out with a shot at a title and not to struggle in a rebuild.  their jerseys will be hoisted in Bean town!

Not much of a conversation if they're both just restating their previous positions.  Can't be that.  Somebody blinked, and if CP3 wanted it done, it's got to be the Clips that did.  Second first gets it done.

So he's not completely useless, right?

the clips are so lame.  they know the price,  it's fair, either do the deal or beat it.

LOL, yeah, between he and Green it'll be a dunkfest around here.  We may well stink, but at least we'll see a few good dunks.
