Caron Butler better not be coming to us in any deal. If this wildly unrealistic deal happens to go through, this is Jeff's and Rajon's team now.

Why are people assuming this is a done deal? Lol I'm seeing all these threads pop up about "what's next?"

i guess for me i think DA does (and should) do the deal with or without Bledsoe

why should c's accept deal if no bledsoe ? I mean the Clippers are getting a top 3 coach , and an anchor for their defense , who is a much better offensive player than Jordan .

if anything , I would rather have Bledsoe and only 1 first round pick (late 20's)

because we have lots of guards under contract and no real paint threat

Yea but if we get bledsoe we can do the Eric Gordon for PP and Bradley trade

PG: Rondo  / Bledsoe
SG: Gordon / Lee
SF: Green  / #16 (Giannis or Glen Rice Jr)
PF: Sully  / Bass
C: Jordan / Melo or Clips pick

That is a young exciting team, with potential to be a 50+ win team IMO

You can always trade Jordan and Bledsoe plus picks after next year to try and land another big piece too .

oh no i agree with u.
i'm just saying if bledsoe is completely off the table, i'd still take Jordan and 2 first rounders.

there are still some decent PGs in free agency this year. particularly nate robinson, mo williams, bring etwaun back, shelvin mack (who I believe we wanted),

If we got Jordan and Bledsoe id try and package them in a deal to Orlando to get Vucevic. Orlando still get a decent centre they get an upgrade at PG which they need. Draft Mclemore.

Bledsoe
Mclemore
Harris
Davis/Nicholson
Jordan

While nothing stellar it keeps them in the hunt for 2014 and also a very nice young core of players

I would take Jordan and 2 draft picks and RUN. KG is washed up. Doc isn't a great coach and if we get Bledsoe then its the icing on the cake. The end of a disappointing era that should have resulted in more titles. We traded a great player in Big AL, Gerald Green and others for a title which was good but it seems like a failure when we could have traded Pierce for assets and tanked another year for D-Rose. I'll take a young and athletic team over a boring plodding team any day of the week. Title or not we should be entertained if I'm paying good money for a game. If we do get Bledsoe then we NEED to take the first deal that comes across Ainge's desk for Rondo and install Bledsoe as the PG of the future. He's younger than Rondo.

I know hindsight bias is a pretty awesome thing, but there's a strong likelihood that we could've taken Beasley over Rose.

So you can look at it like a swing-and-a-miss, or as a crisis-averted.

Better to have bledsoe than the left over late pick in 2014.
And also nobody knows what Rondo will do after that deal. Not to mention, how will he recover from the surgery.

Ainge trying to get Bledsoe in the package is smart.  I think he pushes for 2 days for Bledsoe, if the Clippers don't agree he says fine, then take Terry and Lee off of our books in the deal as well.  We get Jordan, Butler, 2 draft picks and a few unguaranteeds to match up salaries.  We then end up with around 18-22 million in cap space for 2014-2015.  I'll take that, helps the rebuilding efforts.

Danny wants Bledsoe or no deal. Clippers said "no deal".

What did you guys expect? From what I've gathered, this forum is quite vocal about Doc being one of the worst coaches in the league. Did you guys really expect them to trade first-round picks for him?

Clippers aren't stupid.

Please stop blaming DA

Please

This is Doc's fault

He said the condition of him going to the Clippers was that he wanted to coach CP3 AND Bledsoe.

So Doc essentially took away the only thing the Cs wanted to keep them in good position. Some loyalty.
