So, according to ESPN, Kobe's a gametime decision tonight vs Indy.

Can someone with more medical knowledge than I explain how THAT is possible? (Him possibly playing tonight)?
To be fair, I'd suggest that someone with medical knowledge would say a shooter with a broken index finger on his shooting hand should be on the sidelines as well, but he seems pretty hell-bent on being on the court.  I heard on the radio today that he's played every single game in 4 of the past 6 seasons (and only missed 15 total in the other 2 combined), which is pretty impressive given the number of games & minutes under his belt at this point.  He's in for a physically miserable retirement with the number of injuries he regularly plays through.

i would be shocked if Kobe doesn't play tonight.

They can't afford to lose ANY games and second with of the grief Kobe has dished out on DH12 .......

Kobe has backed himself in a corner with his mouthing off at other injuries of teammates

he has to suck it up and play........

If I were Howard I'd call him out on being a sissy....... ;D

Well, if he REALLY wants to be like Mike, he'd better take it easy.

I look at Jordan right now, and he doesn't appear to be in any pain...seems in good shape...at the rate Kobe is going, though - I don't expect him to be able to do the same.

Give it a rest, Kobe....injuries happen - look at BOS.

Kobe already has a longer career than MJ did with more injuries and physical issues.  Additionally, we don't really know what pain Jordan is in / has been in.

True that.

Jordan looks good and content here talking to Ahmad Rashad on NBATV.

Looks like a career well-lived.

Add in the fact that Jordan has reportedly been playing with some of his Bobcats, and I'd say that the Ol' Fella must be feeling pretty good health-wise.

It seems as if EVERYTHING is reported with Kobe, lol......"Kobe sprains his thumb - will he play?"

"Kobe stubs big toe - doubtful for next game vs whomever."

"Kobe chips a nail - further details coming."

Gets tiring after a bit.
