So you have 3 stars
we have Gortat, Gasol (2 stars) Wallace who is actually like a star. Curry who is a great player. Williams who was second in voting for 6th man, Spencer Hawes who in 25 minutes gets 9.6 points and 7.3 rebounds 1.3 blocks, DeJuan Blair who in 21 minutes get 9.5 points 5.5 rebounds

Technically I have two SUPER stars and another All Star. Gortat isn't playing with Nash anymore. We will see how he fares next season.

Interesting in Red. Is that how many minutes he will see behind Pau?

No he will be seeing half of that but he will be more efficient :D Technicall if you have two superstars then i have one :D Your BIG 3 has no RINGS while Pau has 2 Rings. :D

Pretty sure Adam Morrison has two rings also.

Washington how does Mike Brown plan on playing Pau Gasol with Marcin Gortat? Will he use him differently then he did when he was with Andrew Bynum? If so, then how?

Also why should anyone believe Pau Gasol will perform better in this playoff series then he did in his last Four playoff series over the past two years?

Yes Adam Morrison does have 2 rings so are you implying that he is also better than your BIG 3, Pau Gasol was the second best guy for L.A. behind Kobe when they won those 2 rings.

Pau Gasol will be the main option he wont be our third option like how he was in L.A.

So he now has more responsibility. How many shots more per game do you plan on getting him then he got in LA?

Not everyone is cut out to be the man and the leader. Pau was 0-12 in the playoffs as the leader and # 1 on some Grizzlies teams that won 50 games. I understand not winning the series. Our boy KG struggled getting out of the first round for a while, but he couldn't even win one game?

I don't get it. Then again maybe he has been labeled soft for a reason. The guy is 33 years old. I think you are asking too much of him.

Marcin Gortat is a better fit than Andrew Bynum because Gortat doesn't need as many touches and/or shot attempts as Bynum does offensively. Or take up as much prime real estate searching / probing for post position.

Gortat will give Gasol more opportunities as a go-to scorer than he receives alongside Bynum because Gortat is a lower usage offensive player. Gortat will concede the best interior positions to Pau unlike Bynum.

That doesn't mean Gortat is a perfect fit. He's not. The lack of a jump-shot (like Bynum) would cause some problems still ... but it's not the same as with Bynum. It's different.

Is the difference that great though? The lack of a shot matters in my opinion for spacing. A big issue was Gasol playing the perimeter to have Bynum down low. I wanna know what his strategy is.

Interesting Facts about Celtics BIG 3 in the Playoffs:
Griffin: Min 35.7, 19.1 Pts 6.9 Reb FG% .500
Now compare that to Griffin regualar season:
Min 36.2, 20.7 Pts 10.9 Reb FG%.549
So Griffin rebounding went down by 4! and his points almost 2! His shooting also went down

Westbrook: Min 38.4, 23.1 Pts FG% .435 3P% .277 Ast 5.8
Now compare to Westbrook's regular season:
Min 35.3, 23.6 Pts FG% .457 3P% .316 Ast 5.5
That being said Westbrook played 3 more minutes but his points went down his FG% and 3P% went down and his assist barely went up.

Marc: Min 37.3, 15.1 Pts Rebs 6.7
Now lets compare to the regular season
Min 36.5 14.6 Pts Rebs 8.9

So Marc went down in rebounds by 2.2!

So Marc and Griffin will combine for 13.6 rebounds a game! :D

For the last time he is the main guy but the weight is not on his shoulder, we have alot of great guys unlike you who has to rely on your BIG 3 who also choke in the playoffs :D

This really does not help your cause.  Griffin averages more points than Pau's highest scoring output in road playoff games
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Yes, it's a major difference. There are still some spacing issues but nowhere near the degree that there are with A.Bynum and Pau.

Pau Gasol will still have to play some time in the high post but not nearly as much. Which is what you want anyway - a mix between high post and low post play. A better mix, a better balance than what Pau had last year in LA.

Say ... the distribution between time spent high post / low post would end up being closer to 50/50 or 60/40 than the 75/25 Pau Gasol was getting last year with the Lakers. Better situation.

Lol in road playoff games, it does help my cause cause it proves that Griffin and Marc are both soft in the playoffs as they cant even get 7 rebounds Pau last year got 9.5 rebounds in the playoffs

Yet there numbers are still better then Pau's numbers. Also both my bigs are on the UP. They are young and getting better. My Gasol is Entering his prime while yours is Exiting his. Blake, who has already surpasses Pau himself, got his first taste of the post season last year. He will be better for the experience and it stands to reason be an improved player next season.

Westbrook is the best player in the series. He has no one who can guard him in this matchup.

Let's take a look at your guards. This isn't Tony Parker, Kobe Bryant, or Dwyane Wade he is playing here.

This is Steph Curry. A guy who thanks to chronic ankle injuries has little value not only on Celtics Blog - how many times was he traded? - but also was a guy that Golden State would trade for a guy who missed 42% of his games over the last FOUR seasons.

Quote
“I’m getting chills talking about (Ellis) right now,” Lacob said. “He’s one of my favorite players in the NBA. Anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. I feel very strongly about him. It was incredibly difficult to trade him, but he’s the piece it had to be to get Andrew Bogut. We would have traded either (Curry or Ellis) to take the next step for this franchise.”

Quote
The Warriors thought they had the franchise in 2009 when they drafted him. He was a rookie of the year candidate. But injuries have been a recurring issue and Curry doesn’t dominate offensively, or at least hasn’t with the current structure of the Warriors. Good, maybe even great, not dominate. Lacob’s comments are a pretty clear indication that the Warriors are not sold long-term right now on Curry’s position in terms of being a franchise player.

http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/17/the-warriors-arent-exactly-all-in-with-stephen-curry-would-have-traded-him-for-bogut-if-necessary/

So here is another question for you.

What is the pace you are playing at?

Curry needs to be in a fast paced game to succeed. He thrives in the open court. Well he did when he had two good ankles. But I like that. I want to play the transition game as much as possible with Russ and Blake.

Also let's be real on Billups. This guy is 37 and coming off an ACL rupture. The Clippers wisely gave him a heavily incentive based deal. We all saw Shaq with just a strained Achilles. This is a rupture. This guy is done and you want him to play a fast paced game and at times guard the most athletic guard in the world?

Also lets be real on Billups he is only playing 15 minutes you make it seem like he is playing 40 minutes.
