I would love to see Golden State sign a PG and big bodied center.

Somebody like Jason Collins who can strong post defense against big powerful post scoring centers. A third string center that can be called upon when needed.

For a PG, say someone like Shaun Livingston or S.Blake or D.Gibson. Maybe Kendall Marshall.

I think the Warriors are doing themselves a disservice by not plugging 1-2 small holes. Overloaded with wings and forwards right now.

Noted. I've got two more days of free agency and absolutely intend to add another PG.

I would've made that move today, but am maybe the biggest Jonas Jerebko fan on the board (unless Lucky wants to dispute that?) which threw a wrench into my plans.

But what's not to love, 9-5 in 22 mpg on 47-31-80 shooting with plus defense and a great nickname?

I'll also look hard at adding a big body. But I tend to think after this years playoffs, that a skill and/or quickness advantage at the 5 can offset size disadvantages.

I guess to that end, since their are at least a couple of guys still interested in the dubious TOTF distinction, G.S. will put Orlando Summer League First Teamer and dark horse candidate for the Jazz's starting 2 guard spot, Alec Burks up on the block.

Been hoping to open up a roster slot for the Swedish Eagle, but I can't shake my fascination with Royce White that easily.

I am not mad at that sentiment. Since I mostly just watched Summer League highlights mixed to great rap, I quickly became a fan of Royce White.

Give it some thought. Are you sure Marvin Williams doesn't have one more month of bad basketball in him?

I still like Atlanta, Chicago, Indy and Detroit as the top 4 in the East.

We've noticed that several teams are still carrying more than 13 eligible players.  If your team is not at 13 players or fewer by 12:00am EST tonight, your team will not be eligible for the playoffs, TOTF voting, etc.

Additionally, no trades can be made by your team until your are at 13 players or fewer.  That means that you must cut somebody immediately; a 2-for-1 trade to get you below the limit will not be allowed.

Just checking, are we still allowed to hold onto a 14th player if he overseas for another year or so?

I have 13 + Mirotic.

Yes.  The rule is "eligible" players, i.e., players who are under NBA contract and/or are anticipated to play in the league.  Overseas guys don't count.

A side deal to circumvent the rules about roster limits?  ;)

I'll leave that one up to wdleehi.

I okay'd the trade. I told them if they had an agreement outside the trade for a later deal, that was fine, but there was nothing officially binding about it, and if someone just decided they didn't wanna do it anymore, there was nothing the commishs office could or would do about it.

It's basically an 'agreed upon' trade that hasn't been submitted for approval. If both parties don't submit the trade, the deal doesn't work.

celticpride07, and anyone who made a move with nick after the Ibaka-Gortat trade has to resubmit them.
