I'm going with Carlos Boozer at my PF:

I think that's a pretty good pairing right there.
Don't know why everyone missed this but my man GF did make a pick.

I've got 8 "2nd round talents" still on the board.  Curious to see how far they slide.

Don't know if I ever announced it, but Rebus has been my co-GM from the get-go.

If you've got a trade offer for the Pistons, feel free to copy Rebus. He's running the Canadian side of the operations over in Windsor, while I'm holding things down in Detroit.

Also pleased to announce that your 2013-14 Pistons will be sponsored by Tim Hortons!

I had curry pegged as a 4th rounder, great talent but e injuries scare me.  First to second round talent though. And if he is going to be healthy for training camp that's a good way to start things off

I've got him pegged as early 3rd for the same reasons you mentioned.  Those ankles really worry me.

With Lebron, you don't need upside, I think a sure thing would have been the better move and there were some sure things still available.  But I could see how going with the "sure thing" approach around Lebron could be a little boring.

Curry is a sure thing.  He's had two healthy seasons, and one where he had an ankle injury that he kept coming back from too soon because the kid is ultra-competitive (kind of like several of the GMs in here).

Eric Gordon is an injury risk (20+ games missed in each of the last three years).  Andrew Bynum is an injury risk (one healthy season, ever.)  Curry just had one injury-marred season.

Pro-Tip: Engaging Hobbs in a debate this early in the draft will only serve as a way for him to get his propaganda and filth-flarn-filth out there sooner and hurt everybody's chances in the long run.

Boxers are ecstatic about seeing about 10-15 high post pick and rolls a game between Westbrook and Gortat. That might be one of the best two man games in the league no matter which player is shooting. Gortat is unreal at the pick and roll and finishing and if teams collapse on him they leave one of the most explosive players in the league open.

Boxers are very happy indeed.

As long as you think so.   :)

I can think of another player who had 2/3 of his first seasons be healthy ones and kept coming back from the same kind of injury and re-injuring it.

Don't get me wrong, I think Gordon and Bynum are injury risks as well.  But I put Curry in there too along with __________ (who played a respectable number of games in first 5 out of 6 seasons).  I think with just about every GM here, they have their opinions on injury prone players and those opinions largely are what they are.

Let me take a second to defend my picks, first of all I went with who I think will have the best seasons next year. I also tried to pair players that work well with each other.

Eric Gordon: When healthy he is one of the better scorers in the league. He gets to the line, attacks the rim and can shoot the 3. Athletic player that can run the floor and finish. Very strong, good defender against the two. When he is healthy for the entire year next year this will be looked at as a good pick. Finished the year with his team and looked very good, will continue to improve. 23 years old

Serge Ibaka: One of the most athletic players in the league. Lead the league in shot blocking last year. Can run the floor and finish. Can hit the face up jumper. Already showed great improvement early in his career. Plays very hard with great energy and effort. Expect a big jump next year as far as developing a post move, continuing to improve his jumper, improve his defensive rotation to perfection. Sky is the limit for him at only 22 years old.

Kenneth Faried: Very athletic. Knows as an extremely hard worker. Plays hard, gives maximum effort all the time. Runs the floor excellently. Will develop a jumper and polish his post moves. I expect his numbers to soar in his second season.

3 athletic guys who play extremely hard with strong defense.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I thought Rudy Gay and Joakim Noah would have been a really sweet pair to put alongside Eric Gordon. I would've loved to have seen those guys together.

Interesting mix of speed, explosive athleticism, shot-creation, rebounding, defense with some secondary playmaking from Gordon. I think they would've worked very well together and be a fun team to build.

Then add a speedy PG who likes to get out in transition + gives you some dribble penetration + some playmaking in the next round. Could go in a couple of different directions with the PF position and the bench.
