I think it only works if Ray gets his starting job back, bradley takes a cut in minutes, and Terry is happy with 20 minutes per game.

PG:Rondo (33) Terry(15)
SG:Allen(28) Bradley (15) Terry (5)

I'm not in love with the idea of the Bradley losing minutes, but If we're winning I'm for it. I have a heard time seeing Ray settle for less 30 minutes and Terry less than 25.
Unless we run some crazy lineups out there and cut down Rondo's minutes a bit more through the reg season

Don't you see, you guys?

Ray Allen is a team player. He's engaging in some old fashioned industrial espionage. He's running interference for us- the whole Miami visit is a diversion.

He's going to string Miami along as a smoke screen while we snap up all of their plan B vet acquisitions.

Then he'll break their hearts and re-sign with the Celtics.

Ray Allen is my HERO.

Love it, TP for you!

We just got the best rebounder in the draft in Jared Sullinger.

Is Jared Sullinger some sort of alias for Anthony Davis or Thomas Robinson?

sully has some flaws but rebounding is NOT one. Trust me on this one. Kid busts his butt on the glass

Boston knows they are CLOSE to winning it all..and they know the bench and injuries cost them vs Miami.

yup. stevie wonder could see it.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

That being said, I'd be surprised if Sully didn't help the rebounding.
Oh he definitely will!

He's a good rebounder, but he wasn't the best rebounder in the draft. I'm very high on what he'll do for the C's both offensively and on the glass.

Look up the percentages, best offensive and defensive rebounder in the draft.

Even if you're going to disagree, he's the third best?  GREAT pick and a great rebounder.  That's the one thing Sully will do no question.

Total Rebound Percentage
------------------------------------
5.    Thomas Robinson-KS    21.4
15.    Miles Plumlee-DUKE    19.8

... Jared Sullinger 18.2

I think Sullinger beat one of those guys in ORB, and the other in DRB, hence the "best rebounder in the draft" claim.

if we go small, Allen can also play 5 minutes of SF, so Bradley shouldn't lose too much minutes

Basically, but the claim is flat out wrong if you phrase it that way, because those guys all got more total rebounds.

Most versatile rebounder in the draft if you really want to put it that way.

IE they probably offer 6 million for two years like we are with Ray Allen.

Jet decided he wanted the extra cash. Will another team do the same with Ray Allen?

I see. Plumlee did all his work on offensive rebounds and Robinson did all of this on defensive rebounds. Has a lot to do with the fact that Sullinger's job was to crash the glass on both because he wasn't useful in transition anyway.

Still, all agree that Sullinger is a fantastic rebounder.

ok..if we miss on Ray...then who does Danny target?

C's pretty much resign Green, Bass, and Pietrus.

and another wing on the cheap IMO

Josh Howard?
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.
