That's a bit of an overpay for Minny.  Adelman must be really fond of Budinger.
Yeah, I think so too. Budinger is more of a late first (25-30) or two second round picks type of player.

Very good trade for Houston. Picked up a nice asset for a player who had a limited future there.

He's what, 24 years old? He's a proven role player who is a good teammate, has a deadly 3-pt shot, and can provide extra athletisism for Rubio on the wing...

As the saying goes...1 in the hand...

Also, let us not forget the importance of getting Kevin Love a volleyball teammate for the offseason.  This point cannot be overstated...

If Houston did acquire Dwight Howard, I could see them cutting enough salary to make a run at Deron Williams in free agency. I think they'd be the favourite to sign Deron too (if they land Dwight).

Yeah those two seem to want badly to play together.

Over a dispute on Jeff Green's health, that's interesting.

Here's a tweet:

Jonathan Givony ‏@DraftExpress

Sources say Houston has an offer of Lowry, the #14 and #16 picks for Tyreke Evans and the #5 pick on the table. Up to Sacramento to decide.

If I am Sacramento I do that deal.  Maybe ask for a second rounder on top.

Sam Amick says he has two sources refuting that is a real trade.

Ya, that didn't past the eye test. Didn't really make sense for either parties, particularly the Kings.

Sacramento need to start building around DMC, Lowry really doesn't fit that well. And while he's a nice player, Lowry certainly isn't worth giving up a 5th for.

Yeah you'd have to think Sac could do better than that.  Why don't you think Lowry would fit with Demarcus though?

I wonder if Potland would take the 14, 16, and 18 for 6 and 11?

Houston could send 6, 11,
Orlando could take Drummond at 6 if he is there and go with Rivers, Lamb, or Ross at 11.

If Drummond is gone they could go Kidd-Gilchrist or Barnes at 6 and go with Zeller or Leonard at 11.

I don't think Houston could get both picks. I think that is asking too much.

The #6 by itself though, that seems like a fair swap to me.

I'd run the offense through DMC like C-Webb's Kings. While Lowry's shot has improved, it's still a little inconsistent. I'm not saying it couldn't work, but I don't think you're going to get the best out of Lowry when pairing him with Cousins. And because of that, it doesn't make sense trading that much for him.
