They now have 14, 16 and 18. Word is they are trying to get Howard. Looks like letting Daryl Morey go is going to bite us. He has proven to be an outstanding GM. The Rockets are really going for it.

He's mired his team in mediocrity for 5 seasons.

Daryl Morey is going to trade those 3 picks, Kevin Martin and Lowry to Orlando for Dwight Howard.

Then send Howard to LA for Bynum on the deadline.

Daryl Morey is a secret Lakers agent,  just go back a few months with that bogus trade to try to aqcuire CP3 to the Lakers.

He's mired his team in mediocrity for 5 seasons.

Injuries did hurt his team somewhat.

Not to mention 6th man Derrick Williams

They don't have enough to get Howard.

I could see them making a run at Gasol or for a higher pick (which I heard on the radio yesterday that they were looking for a top 5 pick)

Yeah it made sense for the Rockets getting Gasol, but it was the most lopsided trade in recent NBA history to give the Hornets Scola,Odom and Martin, made no sense at all and the Lakers would get at the time the best PG in the NBA.

Here's the ESPN story about their trying to get two top-10 picks in order to make a run at Howard (sans signed extension):

So he's an agent for the Lakers because he made a trade w/ them that would've greatly benefited the team that employs him?

Here's a tweet:

Jonathan Givony ‏@DraftExpress

Sources say Houston has an offer of Lowry, the #14 and #16 picks for Tyreke Evans and the #5 pick on the table. Up to Sacramento to decide.

Getting them CP3, and the Hornets getting a bad pick plus take on huge salary for CP3 made that whole trade fishy.

It's pro sports, let's not be naive here, there are guys working for the benefit of other teams in supposedly rival organisations, people in FO's do that all the time.
