[dang].  I really wanted him.  As our very own Cornbread Maxwell called him the best pick and roller of the last 25 years and since I have Karl and can't get Stockton, I wanted him.

Though I do have one guy ahead of him, who only has to clear 1 more person.

thought it was a round early for Chandler, but nice pick.

I pick late in round 4, and didn't want to take the chance. I love how he fits on my team.
Great fit, but I think there are too many greater talents out there. You need talent more than fit in this sort of thing.
I feel like he was the #1 PG available so if that's your position of need I think you did great. He has two great big men to pick and roll with.

I am going to take the last eligible MVP (and thus will be the only team with 2).  Sure he isn't a pure PG, but he was fairly efficient and will fit in well with Pierce and Malone.  The Mavericks are happy to welcome the 2011 MVP and new starting PG Derrick Rose (btw, not sure how he was still around).

With the amount of offensive fire power you can get else where, I went with the PG I thought was a better passer (and outside shooter)

Rose was third on my list.  (After KJ and Williams)

Well the fact that his MVP was pretty silly weighed in on it, along with his recent injury.

was surprised myself. I thought he's a second rounder at least. He was on my radar too if Penny was gonna get picked. Great pick.

Rose isn't that much of a worse shooter than Williams.  Probably not as good a passer, but he is a better rebounder, better foul shooter, and a better leader.

Rose is a much better outside shooter than Kevin Johnson, except for KJ's last two seasons when he was injured and not nearly as effective overall.

Nevermind, Elton Brand.

His 05-06 campaign was a thing of wonder, grit, and skill. Call it a reach, if you must.

The injury for sure, and while I think Lebron should have won the MVP in 2011, Rose was pretty clearly #2, so it is hard to call him a "silly" winner of it.
