Nevermind, Elton Brand.

His 05-06 campaign was a thing of wonder, grit, and skill. Call it a reach, if you must.

Nash/Pippen/Brand. Unorthodox? You are.

I was Considering Brand last round.  That season he nearly broght the clips to the WCF.  He was the best player in LA that season and that was the season that Kobe scored 81.

CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I am going to take the last eligible MVP (and thus will be the only team with 2).  Sure he isn't a pure PG, but he was fairly efficient and will fit in well with Pierce and Malone.  The Mavericks are happy to welcome the 2011 MVP and new starting PG Derrick Rose (btw, not sure how he was still around).

With the amount of offensive fire power you can get else where, I went with the PG I thought was a better passer (and outside shooter)

Rose was third on my list.  (After KJ and Williams)
Rose isn't that much of a worse shooter than Williams.  Probably not as good a passer, but he is a better rebounder, better foul shooter, and a better leader.

Rose is a much better outside shooter than Kevin Johnson, except for KJ's last two seasons when he was injured and not nearly as effective overall.

The year I plan on taking, Williams averages over 50% on FG, 39% from down town while still putting up 10.5 assists a game.

Nice little stretch where KJ could've been considered the best PG in the game not named Magic Johnson.

He did a little bit of everything and think he slides in perfectly with my Twin Towers.  Great faciliator, can penetrate & score, plus plays hardnosed defense.

Plus, rattle off to me players who've averaged 20 pts & 12 asts in a season. Its a shortlist and he's the only one who was even eligible for this draft.

Chris Paul is totally stoked to have a great scorer alongside him in the perimeter.

Good pick but never liked his attitude.

Still, early '00s Vince was a sight to see.

In all honesty, incredible player, good pick. I thought his years with UNC showed that young Vince was more than willing and capable of moving well without the ball. Though Chris Paul is no Ed Cota.

BTW, for my money best highlight mixtape on the net is Ed Cota's

Y'all wanna talk about KJ, and Vince Carter, how about we talk about the guy who made the Clippers relevant, if only for one year?

Mister Elton Brand. Mister 25 and 10, mister finesse, but with strength few men or gods have ever seen.

They say on a clear night, in Philadelphia, you can still hear his baby hook on the wind, singing songs of promises, unfulfilled.

I am a big fan of the Penny Hardaway, Vince Carter and Deron Williams picks. Also Yao.

I have Penny and Deron as my third and fourth best PGs in this draft behind Kidd and Payton.

Also before he became a shell of himself he was a very good man to man defender and excellent help defender.

This may be blasphemy here but the offensive displays he put on down the stretch of games in the 05-06 playoffs with the clippers was better than anything KG has done in Boston.

The Suns and Nuggets knew he was getting the ball, knew what he wanted to do and they couldnt stop him.
