Did some Head-to-Head checks on Yao vs the top centers of the early 2000's...the guy held his own vs the best.

Alright.

Gave up a 4th rounder to get him. While I still don't know if he'll fit in this team or not, this talent is just too much to pass.

1994-1995 Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway

To add to my "HOF resume got killed by injuries" team. Surprised he's still available too.

Oh yeah!

He owned Dwight Howard repeatedly from what I remember, when he played Shaq it was a fun match up too.

Unfortunately injuries are gonna kill this team in the future. But for 3 years tops, that's a solid all around trio. So worth a 4th rounder Penny is.

Yeah, terrific trio. I love Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway together.

And Patrick Ewing is a great third wheel to their lead. Use his shooting offensively to create space for them and do the dirty work defensively and on the backboards. While letting Penny and Grant do the creative work offensively.

I was just very surprised that Penny is still out there so I reached before someone else took him.

The only reason I wanted him is his versatility to not only play 3 positions, but to play according to what the defense the opponent is giving to him. He'll post up smaller guards and out maneuver bigger forwards. I could put him anywhere in the wing and be solid.

Those three already are probably better than Patrick ever played with besides the Dream Team.
