Was wondering when Mullin would go.

Nice pick BDM.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
This gives quite the defensive lineup of Ben Wallace, Tim Duncan and Ron Ron

Oh boy, oh boy. That's gonna be a tough team to score on.

Im not sure what this means but im gonna guess you like the pick?

Ron Artest was swiggin cognac at half time. Couvosier is cognac, likely the one he was drinking.

Hence, 'pass the couvosier.

So who wants to say good things about my team? Who wants to say bad things I'll refute?

Who wants to talk about the Nash-Pippen-Brand crazytrain?!

I had a strategy once I picked GP (who I felt was the best player available at the time).  There was supposed to be only 2 other picks from when I picked Payton until my next pick and I had several guys I thought worthy of being my #2, amazingly all of them were somehow selected between when I picked Payton and my next pick.  So with all my plans thrown out the window I decided to go with the Best Player Available approach, and ended up with Kidd and Mullin.

I think I carved out a nice Run JGC team so far.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I considered Mullin at various points but always determined there were so many players that did similar things to him, I could never quite get there with him.  That said, I probably would have taken him with my next pick as there aren't that many players in the HOF available in this draft, and he is one of them.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Pippen won't accept nash's leadership and ends up submarining your whole season. Elton Brand continues to fail at winning the big one, like he did at Duke in 99 and like he's done his whole NBA career. Also, Dirk makes it rain.

I'm going to do my best to describe why I like Nash and Pippen together (I also really like brand, but he's no fun to talk about), I've drafted this a bunch but have failed:

What I like about Nash is not only does he push the ball himself, but he's not afraid to catch the ball, see someone making a break and then hit them at half court. Which is a beautiful thing when you've got such an incredible ball handler-distributor at the wing, and I don't think you can find a 3 that fits that role better than Scottie.

YOU'RE CORRECT AND I APPRECIATE THAT! ALSO I THINK SCOTTIE'S DEFENSIVE CHOPS AND VERSATILITY WILL ALLOW FOR THE WORST OF STEVE NASH'S WEAKNESSES TO BE SOMEWHAT MITIGATED!!!

Elton was a fine scorer, rebounder, and defender in his prime.

Love the Pippen-Nash tandem. I think it could work. Pip's never played with a PG like Nash before.

So you have an elite PG and two elite defenders - both that can guard multiple positions AND play multiple positions, IMO.

I'd keep an eye out for the 2-3 good centers out there if I were you.
