If Ford' draft came off anywhere close to what he thinks I would package our 2nd rounder and our first pick to move up and grab Myers Leonard.

Then I would take Draymond Green with the other first rounder.

Then when the free agent signing period came around I would resign Bass and try to sign and trade Jeff Green for a PF. Anderson Varejao might be nice if Cleveland gets to draft Anthony Davis. Or Jason Maxiell from Detroit or Amir Johnson fron Toronto.

Definitely would not get rid of Green. He's the only legit viable backup we have for PP when he's done. No one else on this roster can step in and fill those shoes as it stands. Green is a legit starter who can start at the 3 and rotate to the 4 when necessary. Give him a few years in the system then plug him in for PP when he's done. We'd be set at 2 possibly 3 positions going forward.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I'm not in love with the Melo pick but he's worth a flier with one of the picks. I would absolutely hate the White pick though. White simply has too many red flags to be worth a firstround pick. He's an undersized, overweight, tweener with a fair of flying his best case scenario is supposed to be Boris Diaw. The bust risk is not worth the reward. Harkless, Taylor, Teague, and Wroten are all guys I think have similar if not more upside with a lot less risk.

Bull**** picks for us from Chad.
I will explain)
Everyone is thinking that we NEED to draft bigs. Why?
We might be able to resign everyone.
Look: KG,Bass,Green,Steamer,Wilcox,JJJ + Hollins and Williams.
Green is SF/PF type of player.Same is Royce White. He s not a pure SF.Why do we need to waste this pick for same player?
Fab Melo? Why??? He's no way better than Stiemsma. And he s very strange guy.I don't like his attitude.Same with Royce BTW.
---
My plan is.
We need to replace or insure probs with Ray.
And we need a true SF - in case if Green won't return in his shape after rehab.
Moe Harkless! This is the guy! 3 point.Good rebounding.Good D skills. He s must take guy if he will be available.

SG - I pray draft Gods for Terrence Ross.6'7 SG with 3 and with great potential to become a D stopper at 2.We need size there - AB is short)

If not - take Jeff Taylor or Waiters.

But my dream now is Ross and Harkless.

With second round pick i want Quincy Acy.I know...I know...6'6 PF)))But he s TRUE warrior and with his gorilla winspan and beast energy he might become a steal.

Sorry for my English.Russian Celts r in da house)))

As is Celtics have enough size. I see your logic behind those picks. NBA is guard heavy league anyway. Upgrading talent level at that position help preserve aging star Paul Pierce. As much as I like Jeff Green, I'm not sold on him yet.

They will fit PERFECTLY.
I guess Danny will be looking some help in frontcourt from current NBA players. We will be packed there.

I was watching NCAA games all season long (we have VIASAT here :P) and I KNOW that Waiters and Wroten are knuckleheads.Get rid off them.

If we will fail with my picks (which is possible) than will be cool to grab Jeff Taylor (true SF with crazy athletism) and John Jenkins (3 point King of NCAA and not a dead body on D).

This draft is so deep and so important for our future that I don't want to waste picks on guys like Royce or Fab.

I hope late appearance of Quincy Miller in this year's draft will push Harkless and Ross from top 20 and we all will be happy)What a young athletic and deep team will we have next year!Mmmmm ::)

I hope Danny and Doc get a player at LEAST 7 ft .  I don't care if he plays point guard.  We need taller players.  Rondo and AB are our short guys. Thats enought.

If this Mello fellow ( no pun intended) is 7 ft legite , then I'm for taking him , unless he is hurt already,   he don't need a brain...KG and DOC will think for him ....I want soembody  TUFF and BIG like PERK...with a bit of "DOG"  in him.

I like Melo better than ezeli, had better production and better physical skills

The pfs i like for the c's are nicholson and drew gordon, drew was a top recuirt for ucla and left for new mexico where he was a rebounding machine. Nicholson was productive and has a low post game, like both better than whyte but whyte has some freakish skills and only played one season and may have a better upside.

Another project big man who will never see the light of day. Most of them rarely ever develop, and live up to hype. Celtics have cap space to sign a veteran who can contribute right away.

Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets
Chris Kaman, New Orleans Hornets
JaVale McGee, Denver Nuggets
Omer Asik, Chicago Bulls
Roy Hibbert, Indiana Pacers
Marcus Camby, Houston Rockets
Aaron Gray, Toronto Raptors
Kris Humphries, Brooklyn Nets
Ian Mahinmi, Dallas Mavericks
Carl Landry, New Orleans Hornets
Ryan Anderson, Orlando Magic
Ersan Ilyasova, Milwaukee Bucks

Garnett, Stiemsma, Bass, Johnson (experienced), Hollins (?), and Free Agent big.

We have Stiemsma. Because of that, we won't choose Melo(Or Ezeli). We don't need another limited offensive center. Melo will go Miami IMO.

We would have three pick'n pop player(Garnet, Bass, JJJ) if we resign them, and defensive center(Stiemsma). We haven't got post-up player. In first round we have two options for post-up player. Sullinger and Nicholson. We must get one of them. Sullinger is not an atletic player. So I'm hopeful, many team pass him on draft. Celtics best team for him(because of ball movement). I hope we could get him.

I know Celtics fans want a center who can run with Rondo. But I prefer for Celtics to run the ball instead of just running. Thats why ball movement is more important to me. There are three more centers in draft; Moultrie, Leonard and Zeller, but I don't think we'll be able to choose any of them because I think they will be selected as lottery picks. Which is why I really want Sullinger, I think he would be perfect for us.

Royce White is a really good player and he is a good option for us but if Harkless and Wroten would be available to pick, we definetly choose them because of their potential.

Both Sullinger and Harkless are my dream picks.

Who has better production because it sure as heck ain't Melo?  Ezeli out did him in boards and PPG playing in a stronger conference I might add.  Ezeli was hurt this year too.

I strongly disagree that we have enough size. We are/have been on of the worst rebounding teams in the league. We need a big body to come in and board now and when KG retires.

At our core we are a defensive team. The majority of the elite defensive teams have a presence in paint to convince people not to go in there. If we want to continue to be a good defensive team in the future a defensive minded/rebounding big is needed.

DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

A rookie won't miraculously fix Celtics rebounding. I go with Kris Humphries signing than a drafting a rookie. And when it comes to size Celtics have 3 seven footers on the roster with Garnett, Steamer, and Hollins. Bulls have 1 seven footer.

Royce White will be a SF with the ability to play the 4. Yes he does have psycological issues and needs to lose some pounds. In the NBA he will have the best therapy money can buy. Once he drops the fear of flight and extensive conditioning the pounds will follow.

Loving both of the picks by Ford and would be estatic to see it become a reality.

Still banking on a S&T of Bass and the picks with ATL in the offseason for Josh Smith however. (I can dream right?)

You make it sound so easy. From what I heard White's fear of flying is debilitating. He suffers anxiety before even getting on the plane and is stressed out even after. The guy has gone on roadtrips with his dad to get to games instead of flying. You don't just "drop" that type of fear.
