small ball again Doc? SMH apparently no one in his coaching staff has balls to tell him that it doesnt work. ugly defense

Doc is trying to go small to take away the speed advantages that were hurting us in the pick and roll (with Stiemsma) and he can't play KG the whole half.

We must be watching a different game. I saw no blame on Steamer's part.

Not quick/aware enough to switch on Bonner, not reliable defending the pick and roll.  He was struggling out there.

For those hating on Doc's call for small ball, it's wiped 7 points off the lead and possibly 8 if Bass can hit this.

Keep watching.

Ironic

Duncan trying to body on Bradley whenever his guards are bringing the ball upcourt.

Plain pushing him out of the way (not even setting a screen, just shoving him) when the officials are looking closely.

Rough half but it could have been much worse.  Let's hope the second half looks a lot better - especially on defense

Ray should be coming off the bench subbing for Pierce....keep them both fresh. That way the C's can stay younger and more athletic.

Bradley is a stud.

This guy is only 21 and improving FAST.

I cant believe he isnt starting. Ray Allen is doing virtually nothing for us.

Probably will replace Bradley with Dooling in the 2nd half.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Why are people complaining about/blaming Ray? He started, yeah, and hasn't played well, but Avery's played more minutes than him so far so what's the problem?

Snively is right. Stiemer had a bad half defensively on rotations and playing the pick and roll and pick and pop. But, the Spurs are playing extremely well and attack from so many areas of the floor.

Everyone has bad halves. This was not a good one defensively for most of the Celtics, especially Steimsma, Dooling, and Pavlovic.

I'm in favor of Bradley starting, but it's Ray's first game back, no need to overreact.
