If you are going to go small, you have to put someone in there who can play against Duncan on the defensive end. Bass can't.

Now, if JO or Wilcox was still available, this could probably be the time we put KG on Duncan.

Oh well.  :(

Doc Rivers, you are a terrible coach. Small ball? That's your new rotation. You stink!!! The team went on a huge winning streak and I did not see small ball once. This is the only way you can figure out how to get Ray and Bradley minutes. You are terrible!!! I'm getting mad just watching this crap. This is a good team and you are ruining it.

Sorry Steamer, we don't need rebounds and blocks anymore.

55 - 40 after 20 minutes of game.

The team in white/green is clearly not the same team of the past week.

Guess what made the difference tonight?

They're the best team we've played?  Pierce isn't playing out of his mind?  Teams are finally paying attention to Bradley?

I know you cant be blaming Ray since we've looked our best with him on the floor

small ball again Doc? SMH apparently no one in his coaching staff has balls to tell him that it doesnt work. ugly defense

Doc apparently wants AB in there but doesn't want to bench RA, so BB goes up against BB?

Doc is trying to go small to take away the speed advantages that were hurting us in the pick and roll (with Stiemsma) and he can't play KG the whole half.

I like Bradley's full court pressure defense on Neal. Want to see more of that in the second half. It looks like Bradley can really do a job on him. Neal is costing the Spurs a lot of clock initiating that offense.

Apparently he wanted to prove me wrong.

For those hating on Doc's call for small ball, it's wiped 7 points off the lead and possibly 8 if Bass can hit this.

We must be watching a different game. I saw no blame on Steamer's part.

Disgusting that the Spurs with 4 perfectly health bigs (and a power wing like Kawhi) managed to get Boris Diaw just to let him rot on the bench, when we're reduced to playing Pierce at the 4.

Yea, the small ball actually seemed to help us a bit.

Just weather the storm.  They can't miss right now.

Yup weather the storm. 3 point shooting usually wears off.. if it doesn't, play hard and tip yer cap.

  • You say when......
so nice to see duncan just rebound over bass without even jumping....go smaller even...YES....!imagine if we had a second center..no a shot blocker....and seeing as though we practice little..this would be a good time to get this guy steamer seasoned vs good centers...like duncan.....naw..put a guard on him.....
