C: Camby

Right now, I think we're better than the real Warriors and are on our way to being a play-off team. For GS, that's good.

You need some toughness on that team.

Insert a guy like Jonas Jerebko onto that team and you have a solid rebounding/defending 3/4 man and a very solid starting lineup.

He has a good motor, and isnt afraid to do the dirty work.

Also a good shooter.

Your selection of Camby has copped some flack, but i think he'd be a great fit for the next 1-2 years @ 20 mins per game.

Solid half-court team that can get out in transition.  Like it

Not a fan of Camby this early.  I think there are other Cs out there that will give you the defense needed but be able to also give more minutes.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Lowry
?
Gallo
Splitter
Howard

We're gonna look down on you with pity. That's some size, some talent, and some defense, suckas.

Thoughts?

Do you have the go to perimeter offensive player you need to get to the top level of the playoffs?  (to balance with Howard down low and keep the top defenses honest)

Gallo and Lowry are both pretty good. Gallo's a top 5 SF, Lowry probably the 6th or 7th best PG.

I agree both are good players.  But are either of them the guy you can put the ball in their hands at the end of the 4th quarter and create that basket?

Lowry and Gallo have both had their moments, I don't think they're holding me back in that regard. I do need another crafty scorer, but they're not that hard to find over the next 2-3 rounds.

Even three players in I think I'm better than the real houston rockets.  Post presence, Pick and roll play, and Isolation, we got it all.

Offensively, can be really good if the PG is allowed to run the offense with out having to play "Fresh Prince" offense (pass it to will was the end of every play)

Defensively, looks like a dirty word in Houston.

DETROIT BASKETBALL

PG - Brandon Knight
SG - Monta Ellis, Gerald Henderson
PF/C - Greg Monroe

Ellis is available, though I think I'd like to hang on to him for a while to see if he can be a game changer for a competitor who'd be willing to deal multiple up and coming guys for him.

Is Monroe ever going to get another big man to stand next to him?

Until Carlton airballed the last shot at the buzzer after stealing it from will  ;)

And ya I know, i figure this one is about fun, why not try and score 150 a game.

Sheed in a wrestling suit won't cut it?

Hoping to deal Monta for some depth at some point.
Yup

Sheed had to pre-cut that shirt?

OK, now I am even less impressed!

Gallo is on the block, but only for a package including at least 1 player.

Splitter is on the block for players or picks.

The Cavs won't be picking today so if all you other GMs could pick poorly and allow all the talent to slip to the top of the 4th round, it would be greatly appreciated.

Blockbuster pending.

Scola and Kaman are on the block. I'll consider trading both for a top-flight big man who can run the floor.

I think you just traded a role player, a flawed star, and a mid-3rd round pick for a legitimate franchise cornerstone and a late 4th round pick.

You won this trade, Lucky did it to spread the talent around on his team and maximize Durant.

i just wanted a superstar or near that level. i don't think im winning anything without that kind of talent.

I just wanted a Superstar or at least somewhere close to it. Figured I won't convice anybody without such talent.
