  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Can we not let this be a thing?

Me and KC's bloodfeud? Doubtful. Hate that dude.

Let's see if anyone gets this one...

THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE ROCKERS

Marty Jannetty wakes up every morning in his van, just replaying that moment in his mind.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

All trades should be updated, and complete. If you've made a trade recently and its not recorded correctly, or if your picks are not correct on the board, PM me. Everything is on the first page of the thread.

Cavs stats for this year

Kyrie Irving: 29.8 MPG, 18.0 PPG, 5.1 APG, 3.5 RPG, 49.2% FG%, 41.3% 3PT%, 83.0 FT% 21.60 PER

Luol Deng: 38.1 MPG, 15.9 PPG, 3.0 APG, 7.0 RPG, 1.2 BPG, 42.6 FG%, 36.5% 3PT%, 77.9% FT% 16.24 PER

Kris Humphries: 33.9 MPG, 13.0 PPG, 1.1 APG, 10.4 RPG, 1.2 BPG, 48.7 FG%, 72.3 FT% 18.19 PER

Andrew Bynum: 34.8 MPG, 16.3 PPG, 1.2 APG, 12.6 RPG, 2.1 BPG, 54.8% FG%, 58.5% FT%, 21.86 PER

Playoffs for sure and a much better unit than the current Cleveland roster. I think you need to find someone who can knock down some shots from outside and spread for KH and AB. I like the defense so far as well.
Well Deng and Irving are already good outside shooters but I don't disagree. More shooters wouldn't hurt.

I think we are just going BPA from here as we love the core and think the best way to help it is adding quality, regardless of position.

Of course that doesn't mean we are going to draft 4 more centers if they happen to be BPA, but I think you know what I mean.

Nick, what do you have to say about reports that Kris Humprhies and Andrew Bynum are both jerks?
That Roy and I are both jerks too, so they will fit right in.

Also, big thanks to StartOrien, TWW, Yoki, Evantime, and anyone else I'm missing here for working out those trades and being patient. Because of others' mistakes/bad memories some of those guys gave up actual assets to keep this thing rolling and did so willingly, and I'm thankful for that.

torn between a few option here: taking a pick for the future to develop with Rose.  I like a 6'7" SG.

Chicago takes Evan Turner
Surprised one of the teams vying for Team of the Future didn't nab Evan Turner earlier in the draft.
so was I.  thought heavily about grabbing Anthony Morrow instead as someone a little more established but I think Turner will have a higher ceiling.  Thought about Kaman too to pair with Noah but Turner was too good a building block to skip.
Funny, my three options today were Turner, Morrow and Kaman, but ultimately went with Anthony for the fit ... wasn't as sure about Chris' ability to run with what is becoming a very fast team. I like Turner for your team and Kaman for Lucky's, though, so those three worked out pretty well for us.
Have to admit I had hesitations about Turner but your thumbs up on the pick makes me feel better  ;D

Okay, now I'm going home for realsies. I'll be helicoptering via phone for the duration of the draft today I'm sure (in between bouts of restless sleep and feverish Kelly Kapowski dreams), but if you've got immediate problems Fafnir has agreed to help out and act as Commish for a while. If you've got beefs you can likely still reach me, but don't send me trades today. Faf's your man.

Remember: We're only going 11 rounds, and all trades have to be balanced.

Ha. If Kris Humprhies was available at 3.7 I'd be thinking about doing  backflips, but would then remind myself that I can't do them.

I'll fish for some thoughts, too :P

PG: Jrue Holiday
SG: Joe Johnson
SF:
PF: Amar'e Stoudemire
C:

6th Man of the Year: Ryan Anderson

Obviously I have two big holes on my roster right now so I'll have to repost this after I conveniently pick twice this round. I'm cool with Amar'e and Ryan playing big minutes together (definitely towards the end of games, generally) but I think Anderson's best value is as a 6th man of the year candidate.

Nice work. Offensively, one of the best team's around. Obviously a STAT/Ryan Anderson front court is going to struggle defensively. But Ryan is shooting the ball so well you're also going to have a hard time keeping the pair off the floor, whether or not you bring him off the bench.

I'm also a big Holiday fan and looking forward to the J.J. and Amare pick and roll.
I was in the process of writing much of the same. I think you need to find a big with toughness who can play stopper and works well on help D and can grab some boards.
That'd help, but there's not really any starting caliber centers that could do that and put them over the top.  I'd take a wing with the next pick, there's much more quality at the SF.

This team is meant to put up points, don't shy away from it.  Tyson Chandler sounds great next to Amare on paper, but Amare's a scorer you gotta play to his strengths.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

We have a roster board?
