The New Orleans Hornets select Jeff Teague.

Good young point guard who is still learning to play the position, but he plays defense, hits the three at a good clip and still has quite a bit of upside left.

Cavs stats for this year

Kyrie Irving: 29.8 MPG, 18.0 PPG, 5.1 APG, 3.5 RPG, 49.2% FG%, 41.3% 3PT%, 83.0 FT% 21.60 PER

Luol Deng: 38.1 MPG, 15.9 PPG, 3.0 APG, 7.0 RPG, 1.2 BPG, 42.6 FG%, 36.5% 3PT%, 77.9% FT% 16.24 PER

Kris Humphries: 33.9 MPG, 13.0 PPG, 1.1 APG, 10.4 RPG, 1.2 BPG, 48.7 FG%, 72.3 FT% 18.19 PER

Andrew Bynum: 34.8 MPG, 16.3 PPG, 1.2 APG, 12.6 RPG, 2.1 BPG, 54.8% FG%, 58.5% FT%, 21.86 PER

Playoffs for sure and a much better unit than the current Cleveland roster. I think you need to find someone who can knock down some shots from outside and spread for KH and AB. I like the defense so far as well.
Well Deng and Irving are already good outside shooters but I don't disagree. More shooters wouldn't hurt.

I think we are just going BPA from here as we love the core and think the best way to help it is adding quality, regardless of position.

Of course that doesn't mean we are going to draft 4 more centers if they happen to be BPA, but I think you know what I mean.

Nick, what do you have to say about reports that Kris Humprhies and Andrew Bynum are both jerks?
That Roy and I are both jerks too, so they will fit right in.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
The trade came down to me botching the pick last round with Splitter, and wanting a better fc mate to pair next to Howard. Gallo is a good player in a down year, Millsap is a slightly better player in a up year.

Trade:
Knicks trade: Danilo Gallinari and Tiago Splitter
Jazz Trade: Paul Millsap and 3.12

Hmmmm, Knicks definitely will have the best rebounding team in the league.  I did really like that Gallo brought to the table though.
The Cavs disagree

On what grounds?
Bynum, Humphries, Deng = 30 RPG

Also rebound rate Bynum and Humphries both in top 8 for league while Deng is 5th amongst starting SFs

What didn't you like about Splitter?  Also, what do you mean by down year and up year?  This has probably been Gallinari's best year despite his 3PT% being slightly off, while Millsap has regressed a bit since last season.

Lowry, Howard and Millsap average 29.6 rpg.  And Millsap rebounds with Al Jefferson another very good rebounder.  Humphries is the only one collecting rebounds on the nets.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
This might be a reach, but everyone loves size and this guy has averaged 16-10 since starting. Plus he's a big, angry dude from Eastern Europe, and you can never have enough of those.

Nikola Pekovic

Pekovic/Nene gives me two guys that are built like brick craphouses in my C rotation.

CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Excellent pick. Was going to grab him this round because I couldn't let the value go.

I think that's a pretty good pick.  He's one of the guys I would have preferred in Golden State over Marcus Camby.

Awesome pick, this was the guy I've been trying to furiously trade up for. No longer interested in trading up :-P
