  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Updated trade:

Toronto trades: Jennings, 11.1, 12.1
Indiana trades: Lin, 4.7, 9.1

Also, are we back up to 12 rounds?  I thought there was an 11 round edict, which is why we were strong-armed into giving up our 11th rounder?  :P ;)

Also right Roy. Thanks again.

I don't love Camby.  Golden State is very clearly a future-oriented team, and won't be contending this year.  Therefore, I don't think it makes a lot of sense to draft a guy who only has half a season of leadership left in the tank.

I'd look to deal him.  Vets are good for a young team, but vets with maybe 30 games left in their careers aren't, in my opinion.
Is there an age-appropriate center out there who can be a long term fixture in GSW though?

I am not seeing anyone. They all look like stop-gap signings to me.

Edit: There are a couple of young guys with potential but they could be probably be added in a future round. And I like having Camby around to bring that player along slower and as a mentor to that player.

I was thinking Splitter might have been a good fit alongside Lee for GSW.
Oooh, that's a good one. I like that idea. Sold.

Splitter over Camby.

Who like defense and fast breaks
5-D. Jordan
4-J. Smith
3-
2-T. Allen
1-R. Rondo

I loved Wes Matthews with Rondo and Smith. Now, Tony Allen may be your best jump shooter.
Be patient I have two picks in the 3rd and one in the fourth. I would surprised if all of those guys couldn't shoot.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

For those who missed these posts:

ANNOUNCEMENT:

ALSO FOR THOSE WHO MISSED IT YESTERDAY, IN THE TRADE RULES I FAILED TO MENTION THAT ALL TRADES MUST BE MADE WITH A 1:1 RATIO!

I don't care if you make it up with crap picks at the end, still gotta make it up. Same number of guys/picks going out as coming in for both teams.

Announcement (take 2)

First off I apologize for being so indecisive about this. I wanted to find a way to accommodate everyone, and in the end it just made me drag it out. That's my bad, and anyone who feels like they're going to miss picks because of it, talk to me after class.

Starting Monday, we're going to a standard 2 rounds a day, morning/afternoon draft schedule. 5 minutes a pick.

Round 6: Monday morning
Round 7: Monday afternoon
Round 8: Tues Morning
Round 9: Tues afternoon
Round 10: Wed Morning
Round 11: Wed afternoon.

I am also shortening the draft to 11 rounds, because nobody wants or needs to draft 15 players total.

So for 3 glorious days next week, there will be no evening session, and there will be two picks a day.

If you know you can't make a pick at a certain time, talk to me, and we can work out a list/I could even draft BPA available for you.

The Los Angeles Lakers take Taj Gibson.

The Lakers have lost hope on building a pretty balanced offense and are instead focusing on out-rebounding and out-defending their opponents. Grind it out basketball.

Also thought hard about him.

Yeah, I expected you to take him.

Taj Gibson and Dwight Howard would been hell to play against defensively.

Trade:

Atlanta sends Wes Matthews, Lou Williams, Elton Brand, 5.6
Portland sends DeAndre Jordan, Tony Allen, 4.17

So, for clarification:  Draft picks have to be even in a trade.  Do players + draft picks not have to even out?

(GOSH) (DARN) it.

Honestly, I'm not really looking at this stuff. I figure you guys can figure it out on your own. Jeez.

Evantime, Wiggle, make the picks work.

Wait? Since the start?

Okay so what about this one?

Kings trade: 1.11, 3.11, 6.11, 8.11
Cavs trade: 1.18, 3.18, 5.18, 6.18, 10.18

Wanted to go big. Gibson and Dudley were the two guys I was targeting but I got cold feet. I wanted a bigger starting lineup.
