To the OP, not sure how this falls on Rondo. When you lose a game by a basket and: didn't miss the last shot, didn't commit a turnover in the final few possessions or play bad defense, yet carried the team through out the game, making Brandon Bass look like an All-Star in the process. I can't agree with the assessment. If it wasn't for Rondo, we lose the game by 25-30 pts, like Dallas choked against Miami.

When I see threat titles like this, I really wonder why the poster doesn't think a little bit about what he is typing before posting it.

If you want to make the point that Rondo was less aggressive in the 4th quarter and that led to a loss. why don't You paraphrase that as your thread title?

To me, the Knicks changed  the way they played Rondo in the 4th, using KG's man, Chandler, to hedge off the pick/roll and angle off Rondo's attack route to the hoop.  Rondo then rightly passed off to KG numerous times for open jumpers, only one of which a bit further out on the floor than KG's normal range.  The rest of the shots were good ones.

With what the Cs had going yesterday, that was the second best option available in crunch time, after  Rondo taking the ball to the hoop.  The other team did a good job of taking Rondo away, banking on KG missing, and they were right.
