So depressing -- The Lakers, starting Matt Barnes at small forward and playing guys like Jason Kapono, Josh McRoberts and Darius Morris, beat the Mavs to go to 10-5. Lakers > Celtics and this makes me very sad.

Much easier to win with a weak supporting cast when you  have two talented 7 footers that can score and rebound, just need to surround them with defenders that can shoot.

Oh, and Kobe has been playing out of his mind lately.

That's two times tonight that Biyombo has stolen a rebound right out of his teammates hands. Teammate clearly would have had control of the board if not for his interference. Padding his stats.

His physique + athleticism is very impressive. Still quite raw not just offensively but in terms of defense and rebounding. Willing (lots of effort) but raw.

eh, give 'em a break, they're playing over their heads without Manu.  it's remarkable they've been winning so much despite that.  the Spurs rely a lot on outside shooting, too, so if the shots stop falling a game can turn around on them really fast.

But still...giving up a 14 point lead at the half to end up losing by 20+...is a bit much.

I would be more understanding if this was a battle to the end and the Heat escaped with a 2 point win.

Pretty impressed with Tim Duncan's play against Dwight Howard.

Howard is killing the Spurs on the boards but Duncan has contained well defensively and matched him on offense. Just doesn't have enough explosiveness to beat him to those 50-50 balls.

Spurs long wings, Kawhi Leonard and Richard Jefferson, need to get after those long rebounds. No way Duncan or Blair can beat Dwight Howard to those balls. Just too athletic for them.
