A few thoughts:

Golden State needs a real big.  Biedrins, Lee, Udoh and Tyler aren't centers.

The whole hack-a-[insert poor FT shooter here] strategy is dreadful to watch.

Does anybody else think we could kinda use Von Wafer this year?

Apparently he said recently that the trade request is still on the table.  Unless Orlando really thinks that they are a contender this year, they'd have to be nuts to let themselves end up in the same position Cleveland was last year, and watch Dwight leave for nothing after a short post-season run.

No way does Dwight stay down there, and the Magic would have to be idiots not to see that.  Dwight wants to win a championship, or at the very least he wants to be in the spotlight.  He doesn't get either by staying in Orlando.  That said, the Magic did trade for Big Baby . . . .

BTW, how about the number of free throws Dwight took last night?  39?  Ridiculous!  Even more ridiculous, he only made 21 of them!  Bahahah.  I'm guessing Mark Jackson, after saying for years that teams should just hack-a-Dwight, decided to try it himself.

Looked it up, it was actually 39 too but Shaq only made 18 of them.

They traded him because he was their fourth string center behind Perk, Nazr and Aldrich.

From the little I have seen him so far this season, Mullens is still playing lousy defense and is doing a poor job on the boards. His long two point jump-shooting has been very nice but not enough to stop him from being a net-negative out there on the floor.

Only playing good minutes because Charlotte sucks.

Still has a long way to go before he turns himself into a legitimate rotation worthy player ... which he should achieve with more time and experience. Good pickup for Charlotte.
