lol...looks like Ryan Anderson went ballistic on NY.

And Carmelo was relegated to a chuckster - going a horrid 9-27.

Glen Davis played well, too.

Good for ORL.

I hope Dwight weighs his options carefully. May be best for him to stay in ORL.

Anderson is playing like a perfect complement to Dwight Howard . . . right now he's like a slower but better rebounding '09 Rashard Lewis.  One of the early candidates for MIP, along with Kyle Lowry.

Lowry, by the way, has been better than Rondo so far this year, putting up similar assist numbers, better rebound numbers, and scoring more (plus shooting really well).

Lowry's having a break out year.  His numbers are better than Derrick Rose and Chris Paul as well.

Yup, he's been great.  I think he'll probably fall back to Earth a bit at some point (I can't imagine he'll have better numbers than Rose, Paul, Rondo etc all year), but he's a legit player.

I've gotten the chance to see the Rockets play a couple of times this year, and Lowry doesn't wow you the way other elite point guards do, but he has a toughness that really shows when he plays.

I admire his grit a lot and am rooting for him to keep himself in that upper echelon, not just for this season but the coming ones.

What will be interesting to see is if Morey tries to sell high on Lowry this season or this off-season and get a player he considers a true cornerstone, or if he holds onto Lowry as a foundation piece.

Glad to see Lamar Odom get a great reception from the Lakers fans... For all that guy's been through, that was hopefully a lift to his spirits.

(the older I get the less my hatred grows for the Lakers.  I still dislike them, but it's more tempered since I'm nearing 40). :)

Dirk doin' work against McRoberts.

Wish the C's had a backup center like Mahinmi.  Another player picked up by the Spurs' brain-trust (that they didn't hold onto since they already had Bonner / Blair).

Odom playing well in his return.

Lakers fans must be wondering what a good PG or SF looks like.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

I enjoy Steve Kerr's commentary. Very good at his job.

Really disliked having to listen to Chris Webber throughout the Celtics game earlier.

It's really refreshing to watch a guy who can score with his back to the basket, and take advantage of smaller guys down low.

Lakers with a 7 pt quarter . . . even more repugnant than the Celtics' offense.

Dallas lookin' good.  Lakers look terrible when Kobe isn't scoring in bunches.

I think this has been a really enjoyable game despite the poor shooting and low scoring.

Both teams are playing pretty good basketball. Just not making shots. Well, except for Darius Morris, he was an absolute train-wreck out there on the court. The rest are playing good basketball.
