If the season ended today, Kobe would be MVP. I guess he is one older guy who decided to stay in shape. He is going to end up with  40 plus again tonight. Wish the Celtic vets had the same attitude about staying in shape.

One of them does even more so than Kobe..  His name is Walter Ray Allen.

Anyone else watching Bulls-Grizzlies?

Omer Asik is extremely mobile for his size.  Does a great job moving his feet and contesting shots on the move.  Looking like a great free agent target (unrestricted in 2012).

Great to see Speights get extended time.  Showing great offensive stuff as pick and pop/roll man.  Looks like a bigger Brandon Bass out there.

Josh Selby looking like a nice 2nd round pick for Memphis as well.  Looks to have good potential as a bench combo guard: nice handle, confident, excellent speed.  Reminds a little of Jason Terry.

I agree. When I envision what I want the C's to look like post Big 3 it's Memphis. A team full scorers that embrace defense.

Yeah I saw them play the Knicks last week and thought so too. They're a fun young team and it'd be nice if we could have something like that when the Big 3 leave.

And Carmelo was relegated to a chuckster - going a horrid 9-27.

Glen Davis played well, too.

Good for ORL.

I hope Dwight weighs his options carefully. May be best for him to stay in ORL.

Anderson is playing like a perfect complement to Dwight Howard . . . right now he's like a slower but better rebounding '09 Rashard Lewis.  One of the early candidates for MIP, along with Kyle Lowry.


Lowry, by the way, has been better than Rondo so far this year, putting up similar assist numbers, better rebound numbers, and scoring more (plus shooting really well).

Are you opposed to investing in any 7-footer?

I would invest the least in a Center to be honest.

Especially a guy like Asik to me just seems like he carrys a little too much weight.

I'm also more interested in getting an athletic center which asik is not

Lowry's having a break out year.  His numbers are better than Derrick Rose and Chris Paul as well.
