I don't think Doc wants Glen Davis taking jump shots while Ray Allen is wide open in the corner as I saw more times then I can count last season.  Making excuses for his selfish play is ludicrous.   He stopped all of the Celtics trade mark ball movement just as soon as he stepped onto the floor and that is inexcusable.

Sure he has played well at times during his run in Boston but he has also played extremely selfishly.  He has put his own personal goals above the success of the Boston Celtics.

When you ask? How about breaking his hand in a fight and missing half a season?  How about his horrible playoff run last season?  How about the black hole act for the entire second half of last season because he is playing for a contract.  How about him looking at himself as a scorer while Doc has told him and said publicly that he wants him to be an energy guy?  How about him shooting so much that better scorers off of the Celtics bench like Green and West rarely see the ball once he gets his paws on it?

Davis may be the Celtics best/only option but the days of excusing away his selfish play are over in my eyes.

I don't want BBD taking jumpshots at all...i want him to do what he was doing in the beginning of the season and in the playoffs 2010...

stay in the paint, play defense, take charges...

I hated the BBD in the 2nd half of the season.

I agree.  I like the hustle and defensive Davis.  He is not tall though but I can live with it because he isn't cutting our throats being out of position to rebound.

I don't like bad Glen " Robinson" Davis who thinks he is a scorer.   I don't mind when he scores in the flow of the game but when he presses the action and tries to score he kills us.
