A fourth trade to announce involves a pick traded today that is being rerouted to another team. Before I announce that deal, I'd like hear from more GMs about what's currently up on the board for review/feedback.

A fifth trade to announce:

Kwhit sends Dwayne Wade
Toine's Boys sends Paul George and Ed Davis

My initial reaction was that that was an awful trade (though not vetoable) for Kwhit, but it is clearly an attempt to get younger.

I think the trade is fine (though I wouldnt have made it)
I think when you consider that D Wade is coming off an injury and may not be as hungry, whereas the other guys may very well be hungry facing some challenges this evens out a bit.  Not vetoable.

Wade scored 2145 in 49 games.
George scored 1891 in 66 games.

Wade will be 31 in January and has a good 3-4 years of prime production.

George, starting his 3d season, is only 22 and getting better. He won't match Wade's ppg, but should close the total points gap via Wade's missed games.

If Danny Granger is traded, George could average 40ppg.

I like Ed Davis, but he is stuck on the wrong team. His value won't rise unless he is traded or Toronto's bigs suffer some major injuries.

It's a decent trade IMO.

I don't have any beef with this, Davis still has upside and the sky is the limit for george

Ok here is why I did the trade.

I have concerns about Wade.  I don't see his production getting higher than an average in the low 40's from here on out.  Meanwhile I project Ed Davis to contribute about 27-28/game and George to next year be in the low to mid 30's.  These guys are young and will have plenty of time to grow with the other young studs on my team (Monroe, Favors, Rubio, Anderson, Batum, and this years #8).

Another reason I made this trade with Hpantazo as opposed to waiting for one of the top teams to trade some pieces is that Tione's Boys is also in a rebuild mode.  And no offense to him I don't see him as one of the powerhouse teams (yet?). I like George will be a nice steady player for years, and Davis I think can be a low to mid 30's as he develops.  This also keeps Wade out of one of the already top teams getting richer.

This trade may seem a lot worse for me in the H2H league, but here it doesn't matter how the points are accumulated they do add up.

I guess you just gotta hope Tasmanian Devil here doesn't trade D Wade to a top team. At the rate he's going I'm afraid I'm going to trade him my pants for a package of young players and draft picks........ Hey Toine. My pants are available.

I am of course always open for trade discussion on players such as Wade. However, I just glanced at TB's roster and if he holds Wade all season then with a little luck he could finish in the top 5 somewhere. He has a lot of talent on his roster.

and the GM with Ibaka and rudy Gay has a itchy trigger finger and is over-stressed with work, buying a home, moving and starting a shift at a college radio station.....
