I just might be looking to move up from #13 into the top ten. Let me know if you're open to sliding down a few spots.

Rudy Gay and Ibaka are OFF the block....

I had some initial discussions about them with another team and figured I'd see what I might get for them, but I'm not looking to trade them for random assortments of middling picks and low 20 ppg players.

TPs for all the offers, but I'm not giving either young star away....

I have a crazy idea to kick around. It might be too late this year, but it might not. When you think about it the season doesn't start till oct 30 I think. So in theory instead of giving people 5 minutes to pick we could give them more like 9 hours. That way everyone gets a chance to make their picks and nobody is at a disadvantage because they have to be at work. My prediction is picks would pick up in the evening and slow down. Or everyone gets a chance to say when they could pick and that is their deadline. if you can't make your pick in 24 hours you gotta auto pick. See what I mean? Does that make sense? Someone pick up this ball and run with it. Or punt. Whichever

Yea I think letting the draft go in a slower pace would benefit more people and help trades evolve with people wanting to move down and whatnot.  However, it might just be a bigger hassle for Lucky.

If enough people want to explore something like this for next year, I'd be open to trying it out.

Personally, I think dragging the draft out over the course of a week would just make for an agonizing process. One or two people will still miss their draft time; others will milk the clock for as long as possible to make a trade.

Yea another downside, I could see a lot of time milking to wait for grandfather trades that never happen.

I believe our current one-day format is fine.

I see what you're saying, but I wish it didn't have to be during working hours so much. Maybe starting a little later in the day would be good

I agree with the starting later part. If we had the drafts in the evening it would work out much better for me as well.

Work hours are better for me. I have no evening hours unless we are talking from mid-night until 2am.

and that's why I suggested dragging it out. Everyone gets a chance
