My group of merry losers was never in contention but the other top contenders should just wave the white flag now and crown Roy as the champion again.

I felt that way after Roy's previous deal, this one just cements it for me.

Exactly...and that's what I said to him as well.

Walker Wiggle's head will explode. ;D

Another laugher. What can you do? Roy's on a roll. At least the rest of my schedule is getting easier.

breaking news on a deal to report:

Toine's Boys send Joe Johnson and Designated Drinkers 2nd rounder

Kwhit send Chase Budinger and Aaron Brooks

Awaiting commish's approval. Thought's?

Well Johnson's scoring dropped for the fourth straight season, but given that Toine's Boys gave up so much talent to bring him in, this is another trade that confuses me. I'd suspect Bynum alone would've been enough to bring back Budinger and Brooks.

And taking back Joe Johnson as the price of doing business?

I don't know.  I normally see where you're coming from, but I don't think this one was a laugher.  The only area where I really improve all that much is in rebounds, and MK gets back a young stud center, and a young stud SG that many (including myself) think will develop into a star.  Plus, he's got the Cavs starting PG, at least for now.

I consider this trade fairly even, without even taking into account that J.R. Smith might miss the entire season playing in China.

Yea, I had to get some value out of the deal since he wanted Bynum back in return for Montiejunas and Bynum's value is much, much higher than Donatas' value at the moment, widely seen as a late 1st round pick in a very weak draft who is years away from contributing. I never planned on keeping JJ, my plan was to spin him off for 2 very promising young players which I think I did. Montiejunas I think can be a Bargniani/Nowitzki type of player in 2-3 years, but I could be wrong. He does have a ton of offensive skills for a big man though, and he's very young.

Taking offers on a package of Nick Young, Rodney Stuckey and Ersan Ilyasova.  Not a fire sale, so don't offer me Scal for all 3.  These 3 guys are all young and talented.  They all have somewhat questionable roles going forward but each has the talent to be a 10 year starter in the NBA.

I would really like to get a top PG in return for all 3 if possible.

Haha.  Would you give up both for a top-38 protected #2? ;)

Haha.  I'm seeking young -- preferably starting -- talent for Brad Miller, as well.
