hearing Bruschis defense of his statement, I understand where he's coming from...Belichick has created an environment where you arent supposed to look at what youve done and be in awe of it, but look at it and try and find flaws with it and improve for the next game.
its evidenced by brady and belichick basically scoffing off the historic performance and saying they have alot to improve and just made more plays
and for someone like Ochocinco, someone who only contributed 14yards in that. he needs to be following the same footsteps as brady/belichick laid out. that scoffing off the performance to improve for the next week.
on the other hand, im of the opinion that Ocho will eventually get the offense..its just that for that game, Brady was playing a no huddle offense. so naturally you want guys like Welker/Branch who brady has a familiarity with and know where he wants them. out there..rather than someone given the playbook 5 weeks ago
