Wow ... I always loved Tedy, (and I still do), but he needs to loosen up those u-know-whats a bit. OC was just trying to promote a team-mate, and I think that should be applauded, not chastised. Frankly, I'd question anyone who didn't see Brady's MNF performance as exceptional ... it would either be out of hatred, (and therefor unrealistic), or ignorance of the game. Good job, OC, (I agree) ... now catch a few balls. ;)
I have to agree. Tedy comes off a bit over the top when he's like "Well if you knew what was going on you would have expected that?"  Really? You would have expected like the 4th most throwing yards ever for a QB, only the 3rd to throw 500+ and 4 TDs AND over 100 yards rushing?

Chad is right when he says it was like a video game.

I think deeper, its teddy as a fan coming out with frustration over OC's production thus far in the offense.

But, I think fans are being unrealistic with what they expect him to do in comparison to moss in 08...

when/if OC85 gets it, hes goign to be the 4th, maybe 5th receiving option on the team behind Welker, Gronk, Hernandez, branch..he might not have the production he did last year. but he's an upgrade from Tate..and thats what we have to see him as.

I do think some of it is that Ochocinco seems to be here to tweet, cheer, live with fans...and word is he isn't even learning the playbook. I think Tedy wants to see him be a member of the team at least in effort before being a cheerleader; he hasn't really integrated himself, he still feels "apart."

Its pretty obvious they don't like ocho, which doesn't surprise me at all with radio guys.  Teddy's little tirade is unwarranted, he honestly sounds bitter that he wasn't there playing.  giving your teammate sincere accolade for a job well done doesn't deserve that.  But Ocho can't do any thing right to Boston radio guys.  Teddy needs to get over himself, and sit down somewhere.

word from who though? everyone within the team has said that he's working hard to get comfortable within the system.

its just unrealistic to expect the guy to come in after learning a playbook for 5weeks in a shortened offseason and play major snaps in a no huddle offense where you want your players who are most comfortable

To be fair when you wear three Super Bowl rings, played in two other Super Bowls and are probably a top ten linebacker all time you can pretty much say anything you want to a loser like Ochocinco.

Yeah, that argument doesn't hold up.  But hey, if you've got Bruschi over LT, more power to you.  Bruschi made one Pro Bowl in his career.  He was a heart and soul guy, a leader, and a champion, and he played his role well.  However, that's what he was:  a very important role player, rather than a dominant guy who could take over games on his own.

I do think he will be. As of no now, but give him time. The guyaverages like 13 sacks from the OLB I say that as a niner fan. This list was just to illustrate that Ted is not quite at that top tier.

Ah, I see.  Fair enough.

I think you have too many modern current guys in your top ten right now.  Kinda surprised to see no Jack Ham, Chuck Bednarik, Derrick Thomas, Sam Huff, or Ray Nischke in your list.
