NOTE: At R&F we ONLY use real melted cheese (and lots of it)... none of that cheese sauce nonsense!!!!

My issue with real cheese nachos is that after 5 minutes they become a struggle. The cheese hardens into a mass from which delicate chips cannot escape. Tastier? Absolutely. Easier to eat? Nope.

That's only if you use bad/cheap cheese,..... we have a cow out back and will make our own cheese -- fresh as the morning dew.

It's an activity.  Other bars can pick televisions, or internet, or darts, or corn hole, all of which are activities.  They have the exclusive monopoly.  

Edgar picked a REALLY good activity, and it's exclusive.  Barring it just because it's a really good pick seems a little arbitrary, Mr. Commish.  If IP can have all the whiskey (obviously not a realistic scenario), then the Pandas can have all the dancing.

If we were building the best CLUB... maybe. But we're building a pub. You might get the "hot chicks" but you also get the morons, frat-boys, meatheads, etc who come looking for "hot chicks"... we'll pass.

Wouldn't DJ/Dancing be taking up two categories with one pick?  DJ= entertaining, dancing=activity?

Because you're limiting an immaterial activity that a bar would have no control over.

Realistically we could do a pact and say 'ok, this is the only bar that can serve whiskey' or 'this bar can be the only ones with tvs' but you can't really say 'no one can allow anyone to dance besides this bar.'

Besides that, the selection would be invalid because he's selecting two things. Live DJ'ng AND dancing.

I feel like dancing is a valid activity pick, but not a live entertainment pick. Kinda a one or the other thing, but if you have a DJ dancing is probably going to come with it anyway.

My feelings on the DJ/Dancing pick.  

Edgar does have to pick one or the other since DJ'ing is entertainment and Dancing is an activity.

While you can't control whether dancing occurs at your bar, there are clearly bars that are better set up for dancing than others.  If Edgars activity is dancing, I picture his bar having the perfect setup for bar/club dancing and the rest of us being stuck with the patrons that want to dance to our live music.


But I do see a distinction between dancing along to live music and a club set up specifically to attract a dancing crowd
