I think we're being overtly generous as is. He's selecting a DJ, and you're arguing Roy that he should get the exclusive rights to literally everything that relates to a 'dance scene.' Even down to dancing. Which really makes it about 300 picks not one.

Not really.  Edgar's bar activity is dancing, and everything that goes with that.  Champ's is TV + all cable rights + pay per view (i.e., all the parts that make up a full TV experience).  I don't see them being any different at all.

Edgar, we are allowed to have space in front of the stage for entertainment.  That Idea was not vetoed.  You were awarded a seperate Dancefloor/DJ Dance Area.

That's one activity.  Clubs and bars all over the world promote this as their activity.  "Live DJ Dancing".  It's a bar activity, that we've all seen promoted in every city in the country.  That's what Edgar is selecting.

Comish already clarify

DJ and Dance Floor with lights , bubbles, fun , smoke and all that fancy stuff they use to put there, p.s. maybe the circus area I am still working on the layouts of the bar.

Bands can be heared in a propper space in front of them.

Of course I cannot watch any TV.... desastrous.

Here's the ruling on Edgar's Pick:

If he'd like to keep the pick Edgar is allowed to have as his activity - a Live DJ room. This means he's the only one that would have a Live DJ and the things that generally come with a DJ (strobe lights, etc.)

He will not get the rights to 'dancing.' It's immaterial, unenforceable, and I think it could potentially take this draft in a direction I don't want to see it go.

Is he the only one allowed to have an allocated dance floor, as well?  I get the position "we can't stop people from dancing" (although that's not really true).  However, bars don't all have to *encourage* their patrons to dance, and as such, Edgar should be the only bar owner with a dedicated dance floor of any nature.

Yes he is the only one with a dedicated dance floor.  Although I don't think keeping people from dancing when we all have live music acts is realistic.

Alright, fair enough.  I think that's what he was going for in the first place.
