  • What a Pub Should Be

I mean, c'mon, my bartender really only exists in two-dimensions....  ;D

So he only serves flat beer.

OH YEAH!!! YES!!!!  ;D ;D YES!!!! YES!!!!  ;D ;D ;D YES!!!!
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT: JOKES, LEVITY, BUSTIN' ON EACH OTHER.... I'm headin' down to Lucky's Bar & Grille... drinks are one me y'all!

Sweet...order me up one of Lucky's special top-shelf margaritas, on the rocks, with salt, a pepperoni pizza, think crust, well-done and when I'll pack up my laptop and be right down!

No deep dish for you, CC?

I just had a deep dish pie from Lou Malnati's (a Chicago icon in the pizza world) and am not feeling another deep dish quite yet...

The "Lou" with buttercrust is the bomb.  Gotta go buttercrust.

The Rusty Nail Saloon Selects: Grain Alcohol

Now available at the Rusty Nail: Blindness!

(also, why is that bottle of everclear only 151 proof?)

Because he hasn't made them his house band yet.

So you're saying there is still a chance that I'll be able to live beside the ocean, and leave fires behind?

True story, I passed through Nehalem last week on the drive back from the Oregon Coast.

It's an activity.  Other bars can pick televisions, or internet, or darts, or corn hole, all of which are activities.  They have the exclusive monopoly.

The difference is that a bar can provide televisions and dart boards, but they can't provide dancing customers choose to dance. You're not controlling what the bar has, you're controlling what the patrons can and can't do. By this standard, IP could draft, " Watching television" and completely muck up the draft.

Now if Edgar wanted to hire Go-Go dancers than his bar would be one I had to go to just for the experience, but I'd have to save for weeks just to pay the cover.

You might even be able to swim out past the breakers, and watch the world die.

Here's the ruling on Edgar's Pick:

If he'd like to keep the pick Edgar is allowed to have as his activity - a Live DJ room. This means he's the only one that would have a Live DJ and the things that generally come with a DJ (strobe lights, etc.)

He will not get the rights to 'dancing.' It's immaterial, unenforceable, and I think it could potentially take this draft in a direction I don't want to see it go.

Is he the only one allowed to have an allocated dance floor, as well?  I get the position "we can't stop people from dancing" (although that's not really true).  However, bars don't all have to *encourage* their patrons to dance, and as such, Edgar should be the only bar owner with a dedicated dance floor of any nature.

Yes he is the only one with a dedicated dance floor.  Although I don't think keeping people from dancing when we all have live music acts is realistic.

Alright, fair enough.  I think that's what he was going for in the first place.

yes it is

its good to have my lawyer with me on this one

see i only have to agree hahahaha

p.s.

Hey you steel have head banging, dancing on tables, air guitar  and some other beauties I will come after later,..... Have fun with that

Panda Pub is the ultimate experience
Dance floors are terrific..but I WILL dance wherever I am.   I have been known to embarrass my husband by dancing to the piped back ground   music in the grocery store!  (I am not making this up!  and yes, it probably is sad...)

So are we still waiting on Redz and Champkinds picks?

Am I up? I wasn't sure if I was skipping someone. I'll pick whenever I get the OK
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

IP...I never leave my friends behind.  It doesn't embarass me if they don't dance, and it doesn't embarrass them if I do.  That is why they are my friends.

Are you trying to soft soap me to get my vote?  ;)
