Denver:
1)Is it worth the offense gained to start Calderon and Wright when defensively both Bosh and Nene are going to have to keep their head on swivel to keep guys outta the paint?
2) Both Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson are historically poor leaders, versatile weapons, two-way threats, and good-but-not-great players. How does combining them together equal profit?
I've been thinking about switching things up to even out a balanced attack. Being as all these teams are brand new lineups and meshing things out might take a few weeks. I'm definitely not against starting Mbah a Moute and Hill over Wright and Calderon. THere is definitely plenty of offense between JJ/Bosh/Nene. While Wright may be happier getting his shots off the bench when JJ isn't in the game.
I don't think JJ is a poor leader, I think how the Hawks came together to beat Orlando this year shows JJ can help lead a team. While JJ and Bosh aren't the best #1's I think them being together certainly helps (plus what would you expect me to do with the last pick).
My preliminary conference ranks:
2. Portland
4. Utah
5. Denver
10. OKC
As always, feel free to tell me why I'm wrong and have horribly underrated your squad. I already moved some teams around based upon yesterday's arguments, and I'm willing to do the same again.
Well I think a lot of people are underestimating Denver and I'm surprised to see some people seeing us as 3rd or 4th in the division.
JJ, Bosh and Nene are one of the best trios in the CBNBA. The team is very balanced. There is no lack of offense. There are plenty of capable defenders, and good spot up shooters.
Can I ask what people think the faults of Denver are that put them behind other teams in the division?
