I've added Carmelo Anthony, Evan Turner, and JJ Hickson to an already very talented young team, and I go from 4th to 3rd in just the Division?!? I think my team is being highly under-rated, simply because their "young".

Bahku,
I think the main issue is yes your team is young, but you have team without a guy I would consider a leader. Neither Melo, Harris, or Lopez has shown they have what it takes to lead a team to a title now or in the future. There is no 2009 Brandon Roy - young superstar and definite leader - on your team. IMO.
Not in the future ... really??
Devin Harris may not have had the pieces on his team yet to lead to a championship, but he is definitely a leader, and has shown that in his willingness to share the ball, his quickness, athleticism, (6-7 1/2 wingspan), his explosiveness, running the pick-and-roll to perfection, (45% of his offense), and getting the ball to his other scorers efficiently.
Just because a player hasn't been put in the right situation, doesn't mean he's not capable of carrying that load, and I think you're selling Devin a bit short here. You sometimes have to take players out of their context to assess them on their own merits, and a fantasy draft is one of those times.
Melo has plenty of star power to supply the team with energy and incentive and the drive to chase a title, but again, he's just needed the right people around him to do so, and a faster, more athletic point guard than Chauncey. Billups is a superb PG, don't get me wrong, but I don't believe he was the best fit for Carmelo.
Devin is much more of a complimentary guard, one that can explode to the basket, run the pick-and-roll, shoot, or get the ball to his superstar when and where he needs it, and run the floor without being a ball-hog, (as some of the "superstar" guards have a tendency of being). I think the one-two punch of chemistry that he has already established with Brook, will encourage each to come out of their shells, so to speak, and energize them to raising the bar alongside their star.
I think you're also selling Jerryd Bayless and Jimmer Fredette short, as Bayless has already shown flashes of brilliance, and Fredette earned just about every award possible in the NCAA, and is a very mature young man who almost everyone feels is an excellent fit for the NBA.
I did a great deal of homework on these Rookies before I picked them, and as you'll see in my press conference, they are not just extraordinary basketball players, they are extraordinary people as well, with experience beyond their years.
Thanks and a TP for the post, Kane, (and Fafnir), much appreciated ... and I'm hoping to have more time on Wednesday and not be confined to five-minutes-here-and-there like I have been most of the time lately. I'd love to be more involved in the running dialogue ... it's a bit like shooting in the dark when I come home at 11:30 and try to catch-up with all that's gone on.
Crossing my fingers ... thanks again!

By the way, Devin Harris has a much better chance of leading a team to a championship than Brandon Roy
ever will, (unfortunately).
