Quote from: Roy H. on July 19, 2011, 12:27:08 PMAs for the other trade, is a JO who will miss 40+ games more valuable than having Andray Blatche in your lineup? I'd say probably yes. Finally, a little positive thing for Dray.

Quote from: IndeedProceed on July 19, 2011, 12:19:17 PMTrade: Magic trade Jared DudleyBlazers trade Corey MaggetteI don't like this for the Blazers. Why? Because they once again don't have a true SF. Say what you want about Corey Maggette, but he's athletic, he gets to the line, and he's extraordinarily efficient. Jared Dudley, while a very nice role player (and one of my binkies), isn't nearly the impact player that Maggette can be.This means that the Blazers have to put a 3/4 back into their starting lineup, rather than a true 3. I don't like it. I guess trades have to be made to appeal to those doing the voting, but from a basketball standpoint (rather than a reputation one) this makes very little sense to me.

Dudley played the vast majority of his minutes in Phoenix on the Wing, and not in that kind of 'he's a 3 but we're going to play him like a 4' kind of way. He defended 3's and sometimes 2's, he hovered around the 3pt line, and played as a wing. I like him there for me.
