With the 8.13, Bulls select Evan Turner.

Ah, newts. I couldn't afford to draft another young unproven guy to anchor my backcourt, but if I wouoldn't have feared the wrath of the 'youth can't win' I would[ve drafted him rounds ago.

Great value at this stage in the draft.

Yeah, agreed.  I'm surprised somebody didn't gamble on him a round or two earlier.  The potential is certainly there.

Trade:

ATL sends: J. Oneal, 12.13, 13.12

OKC trades: Andray Blatche, 10.17, 11.18

I love the symmetry.

Question: Did Atlanta have A.Blatche before?

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
I think this pick is still mine. I thought I had traded it but I might just never have put it in my sig to begin with. Sorry to anyone I had trade deals with that ended in "can't make that work, don't have an 8th to deal."

Anyway, this guy's due for a bounce back season, fits into the guard rotation, etc:

Rodrigue Beaubois
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

He'll make a good 4th wing now, but I don't know how much he can give anymore. He looked pretty donezo last year.

They drafted him, traded him for an 8th round pick, then traded JO (a guy they also drafted two picks later) for him plus a 10th and 11th round pick.

Yep, he got traded for a mid rounder. then got traded back for upgrade picks, for JO too of course.

You had your chance. I was patiently waiting for you to rip him away from me one pick earlier. Now he's allllll mine. For now. Until I get bored and trade him to Edgar for some pictures of donkeys.
